Dr. Mike Matthews has been my doctor since 1979 and is amazing. He makes you feel comfortable so you can talk about anything. So sorry to lose him! But he has certainly earned his retirement. Wishing him all the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Matthews since 1987. Never had any issues. Always felt comfortable with Dr Matthew's. If there were any isses he couldn't fix he set me appointments with a specialists. Both Laura and Teresa have been pleasant .

My teenage daughter had been struggling with a rash and swelling on her face for years. Our GP kept prescribing various things, but also had her washing face with different soaps, etc. Dr Matthews prescribed something different - and the rash was gone in the morning and has not returned (it’s been 5 months). Thank you!!!

There is definitely no pleasing some people. I have been with Dr Matthews and Laura for over 30 years now and I would not want it any other way. Micheal has diagnosed several ailments for me over the years,and caught others before they even became a problem. Laura has been nothing but kind and friendly to me,I am quite happy to hear her voice on the phone. I also hope that Dr Matthews does not retire.

Dr. Matthews is the perfect family doctor, for my wife, our children, and myself: friendly, smiling even when discussing serious symptoms, very knowledgeable. We hope that he will never retire!

Doesn't matter if you have appointment you still have long hour wait time. Dr Matthews will probably carry on practicing although he is starting to be forgetful due to his age. His secretary Theresa is lovely to deal with but watch out with Laura because this horse-face is downright miserable and completely unprofessional. Half the clients cannot stand this ignorant woman.

Dr. Matthews is a wonderful doctor, he is thorough, and always explains anything you have questions about. Sometimes his office is packed but he wont turn people away if they call last minute and need to see him. I have been going to see him for over 41 years and as another reviewer on here states, I have moved to Whitby, Richmond Hill, and Uxbridge from Toronto and still continue to commute to see Dr. Matthews. He is great!

I have been a patient of Dr Matthews for over 38 years and he has been a fabulous doctor, he is knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner, he has a sense of humour, he takes time with each patient even though his waiting room is packed, he doesn't try to get rid of you or rush you. My whole family goes to him. I have moved to another city but I still use Dr Matthews as he is so awesome!

Friend knew a woman who went to 12 different doctors to find out what was ailing her. They all said it was in her head. Dr. Matthews found out what it was. I've only seen him for a few check ups but he's been great.
