I've been seeing Doctor Sanapati for 15 years. There is no long wait times, the clinic is no longer like it was years ago. I've had multiple neck surgeries, fusions, plates, screws. I've been in chronic pain since my posterior cervical surgery, left with nerve pain, muscle tightening, facet joint pain, my list goes on an on. Without Doctor Sanapati's wisdom and help, I would have no life. I have complete trust in Doctor Sanapati, so happy that he has a pain clinic and ambulatory center here in Evansville.

Because I would not agree to a nerve stimulater implant. He fired me. I have been on pain medication for many years from a gun shot. I have brain damage and have already had all my toes on my right foot amputated. He was very rude. We also asked if our insurance would pay for the stimulator and he said we will cross that bridge when we come to it. We'll we are here. I believe he never checked with my insurance.

Waited for over an hour in hot room. Appointment was supposed to be on 8/4 but they called on 7/31 to tell me I had to be there the next day. Show them The appointment card that they had wrote for8/4. After waiting for an hour told them I needed to reschedule they said they could not do that. Treat patients like cattle, will never go back

Dear Dr. Sanapati,

Please improve upon your bedside manner.
I have little confidence in a person, let alone a doctor, who fails to make eye contact with me.

Sincerely,

All of your patients

It's unfortunate these clinics attract the lowest of the low. Seeking drugs for their habit. Many of us have legitimate pain issues. It's frustrating to hear people in the waiting area discuss trading meds with each other. My appointment was at 11am, and I finally saw him at 2:15. Upon reviewing my medical records, seeing I have spinal cord damage, he mumbled and left. The nurse came in and had no response for me other than I needed to have my neurologist examine me and send Sanapti current notes. Newsflash: spinal cords with lesions on them don't miraculously go away. They said come back in four weeks. No pain management plan. Nothing. It was twilight zone type of shit.

Advanced is the 2nd pain clinic I have been a Patient with. This Clinic is by far better than my first one but in saying that you need to know where I went prior ended up being closed down due to improper RX practices! Dr. Sanapati never looks at me eye to eye. He offered to give me a Steroid Injection today and I had to remind him I am Allergic to that drug class. I feel he is uncomfortable in dealing with Patients and is Completely Unaware that his Front or Reception Desk lacks a lot in being the Face of his Clinic. Never has one person smiled at me, or even said Hello. When I am called for my reminder to come to my next appointment the woman from Advanced speaks English poorly and she never says my name correctly. We as in their Patients are the ones who Pay their Salary if it weren't for us going to this Medical Practice there wouldn't be a place for them to work. Conversely the back staff of Tech's and Nurse Practitioners are wonderful. They are kind and thoughtful. They laugh and show concern. Dr Sanapati really needs to fix his clinic! But as I read the comments below its apparent he has no plan to do so people have been complaining for years now.

Common to wait for hours past appointment time. Last appointment was a 3 hour wait. Not a word from staff that there was a problem

Dr Sanapati has some very rude office staff. I didn't want to get addicted to pills, so he found a solution. I have been very successful with my pain pump for three years now. The office is very busy which can be frustrating, but I've had bad experience other places. Thank you Dr Sanapati for giving me my quality of life back!

Stay Away!! Money is the only thing this place cares about. Dr. Bhaskara was my new doctor when I moved here with 5+ years of positive Pain Management records already forwarded. When I walked in he said we can fix you with injections and changed all my medications! Never even gave me an exam and I NEVER went back. I found another more respected pain doctor in Evansville that I highly recommend seeing.(Dr. Rupert)

Dr. Sanapati runs Advanced Pain Clinic for patients who are trying to live with chronic pain. He and his staff write prescriptions for pain meds that most doctors are unable to provide. He also is an advocate for "Drug Delivery Therapy as well as giving injections for pain.
