Dr. Jespersen is an excellent Dr. He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. He has been our family dr. for more then 20 years.

Dr. J has been my doctor since I moved to Calgary in 92. He has always provided me with the care I needed. Before last year I am able to ask him questions about my medical condition and he would respond cordially and explain to me what it all means and what I needed to do. Lately however, I noticed that he is somewhat a bit rushed and would not even ask me what is wrong with me. My last visit 3 weeks ago was even worse. He came into the room started typing then asked me to sit on the table, check bp, stomach for pain (reason for visit) and then typed again. He said nothing to me to explain the cause of pain. I got a call last week from a specialist that i have a booking in Sept for Sigmoidscopy! Now I am really worried and no info on my condition. I am now seeing another Dr and without giving him info on Dr J, my new Dr started talking to me about my condition, the test he needed to order (Barium Enema), why the need for the test and maybe more test depending on the result.

Me and my family had Dr. Jespersen for a DR for 4.5 yrs while we were in Calgary. He was very kind and helpful to me,my husband and 3 boys. I only wish I could have taken him back to Cape Breton when we came back. I hope him and his wife Catherine are doing great.. Catherine McGrath-Simms

Terrible doctor!I went with my husband for his appt and we waited over an hour to get in.Once we were in he didn't even say hello when he came into the room!He sat down immediatly and started typing.When my husband asked him to check a mole for him his reply was "Well, make another appointment and I can check it then". As if we have hours upon hours to waste sitting in your office!Good Doctors will take care of you... this Doctor does not and I PROMPTLY had my husband switched over to my doctor because I know he'll at least be taken care!

I agree with all the comments here and what a pleasant office to visit ! It is never stuffed full and he takes the time to be helpful sends you to specialists if needed . I appreciate doctors who do this to eliminate the benefit of the doubt ...far to many doctors think they know all ,but know nothing or heavily rely on their own knowledge instead of proper testing . I too never felt like we were wasting his time and he was so thorough with our children , we will remember the flavoured tongue depressors and his wife Katherine was always so pleasant .Certainly this is how a doctors office should be infact you can find yourself to be the only patient in his office and when you leave the next patient is walking in Kudos to you Mr Jespersen we miss your professionalism

Dr. Jesperson has been my physician for about 20 years. He always sees me within a reasonable time with respect to the actual appointment time. He does not stack the waiting room by making simultaneous appointments as many doctors do nowadays. He knows me by sight and is aware of my history from memory as well as by chart. I am not just another face in a lengthy parade of patients who are run through the office like cattle. He has gone far beyond the call of duty on my behalf on a couple of occasions. Kudos!

My family has ben seeing Dr.Jesepersen for about 10 years. He does not waste your time, and for the most part, he doesn't make you feel like you are wasting his time. He is very professional, sometimes, too serious but when you need to expand on something that is on your mind, he will take the time to listen. We are very happy with him. And, we must mention, his wife, Katherine (who runs the reception/charts, etc.) is one of the most pleasant people we have ever met.

Dr J has been my family doctor since moving to Canada in 83. He is a very caring and responsible doctor. He doesn't hand out pills for the sake of it, and always has our best interest in mind. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

We are patients. Don't feel there's anything unusual about a Doctor billing for services. It's something all the Physicians do now a days. Always seems to be as accommodating as possible.Happy to have him. R.U
