Dr. Pereles is a hoot and he's brilliant. He will tell you like it is (some might think that's arrogance--I think he's just direct). He's an excellent sports medicine doctor and has a very good resource listing of physical therapists and pain management specialists. He's an athlete so he understands how to keep yourself active while protecting your body. Front desk needs a little more training and help Too many errors in scheduling and communication. Don't let that deter you from seeing him.

Dr. Pereles is the most amazing doctor I have seen! He is thorough and compassionate. His knowledge of sports injuries is top notch and he tailors his treatment to each individual.

Dr. Pereles replaced my ruptured ACL in Feb.2006. I had interviewed another surgeon before meeting Dr. Pereles, and the difference in my comfort level was like night and day. Dr. Pereles had solid reasoning for his surgical methods, and solid answers for the differences in his methods from the first surgeon with whom I had spoken. I was running circles around the other folks in physical therapy, so I think I chose wisely.

A little quick to recommend surgery--it seemed to me since I had not tried anything else. I tried things he did not seem very positive about recommending and seem to be on the road to recovery WITHOUT surgery. Those things were weight loss and rehab (nothing revolutionary. He may be right- time will tell. but I am very happy to have tried other things first.

After 2 years - still in pain after he did surgery. Very arrogant and too quick to pull out the knife.

Best shoulder doc out there. I had a torn rotator cuff and had already tried injections and therapy didn't do any good...no wonder, it was torn. The surgery went great and I had minimal pain afterwards because of his technique. I would definitely use him again, and recommend him to anyone.

Doctor did not take appropriate x-rays or prescribe appropriate physical therapy for knee problem. Very anxious to do surgery for something that should be addressed by physical therapy first.
