After spending an entire minute and a half telling me to go somewhere else he claimed he spent "an extensive amount of time" on my case and would not look at my ailments. Does not care for his patients wellbeing at all! Horrible practitioner. Couldn't even give me even a "professional" opinion. Knows little. Glorified nurse at best but even that would be giving true nurses who care for patients a disservice. Would not recommend seeing him if you care at all for your health. Even what he said in the short time was so basic and unknowingable I'm surprised he "treats" patients. Avoid!

I had been having trouble breathing for two weeks. I went to the walk-in to see if it was an infection or something and Dr Daiter said it was nothing and to come back if it didn't improve. 2 weeks later I returned and he still didn't know what was causing the issue so he put me on puffers. That night, I was rushed to the ER and admitted because my lungs were *full* of embolisms (blood clots!). The Dr in the ER asked 1 question (was I taking any medication) to which I replied that I started birth control 3 weeks prior and right away I was sent for X-rays. The ER Dr said I was lucky to have come when I did. Results could have been catastrophic. Needless to say, the 4 minutes (total) I spent with Dr Daiter won't happen again. Terrible experience that could have cost me my life.

After an intense workout I developed a terrible headache. Dr Daiter and staff were great- i was seen within 15 minutes and after a thorough exam Dr Daiter thought it would be a good idea to have a CT scan to make sure everything was ok-this was all done on the same day!! I'm happy to say everything was fine! The nurse even called the next day to see how I was doing!! Will definitely be back

Dr. Daiter gave me a prescription with the WRONG DOSAGE. I brought in my medication bottle and printed record from the pharmacy, and he gave me the incorrect RX that I filled. I noticed the problem when I went to take the medication the next day. I called the pharmacy who contacted Dr. Daiter. I said I could bring in my information again, the pharmacy said "no - Dr. Daiter wants information from my doctor and pharmacy faxed to him, he thinks the dosage is incorrect' ie: my pill bottle and pharmacy print-out was false/ incorrect (!!!) So I had to interrupt another doctor and pharmacy in order to fix DR. DAITER'S error.

Mistakes happen. But I wanted to talk to Dr. Daiter to point it out in hopes that this wouldn't happen to another patient - with possibly dangerous results. I waited in the clinic, and finally a nurse brought me into a room. She said the problem was solved, I didn't need to see the doctor (??) I said I just wanted to talk to him briefly to talk about the error and what the pharmacist said. The nurse said there was no need and opened the door as if to say 'go'. So I'm not seeing the doctor? She said no, that SHE actually made the error and showed me the chart.

I left and ten minutes later that same nurse called me back all apologetic 'if you want to see the doctor, please come back' Sorry? I was just there..I waited for 15 minutes and you said I didn't 'need' to see the doctor. She said she was sorry, she was mistaken. Again.

I have 0 faith in the clinic. If you do go there, for God's sake, CHECK YOUR PRESCRIPTION carefully with your pharmacist. Ask questions. This clinic didn't seem to care about the error THEY made with my information and prescription.

Go there if you have a splinter or something, not for anything more serious.

I hate this clinic. They treat everyone with contempt. The doctors are nice but their staff is ridiculous. I will not go back. I know there are other clinics in Whitby that run smoother with less attitude.

Dr. Daiter is a great family doctor. My children have been seeing him for the past 8 years, and he's always been excellent with their needs. His practice is in a very much built-up area of Whitby so it's typical to find the waiting room booked solid (sometimes standing room only). So yes, there are days he does tend to rush through very routine walk-in's, but I don't blame him with his office is full of school age children sniffling with symptoms of a common cold. I appreciate his attempt to get everyone though as quickly as possible. Parents with sick children are hardly known for their patience! However, anytime I've seen him with reason to have concern - e's always taken time to be thorough and has great bed-side manner. I get much better quality of care when I walk-in to see Dr. Daiter than I do with my family doctor in Toronto. I would switch to his practice but he is not accepting new patients. Generally a great GP who does his best to meet a very demanding community.

This Doctor should not be in a walk in clinic , I have been there three times now over a few year and ended up in a Er due to his lack of knowledge of my illness , don't waste your time people go to a ER and wait the four hours it will be worth it.

I think Dr. Daiter is great! He is always right on in figuring out what is going on with me. The first time I saw him I had already seen 2 other doctors who brushed me off. Dr. Daiter ordered the right tests & really helped me. His office is very busy but well run & he seems to manage his time well. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Daiter in my community & highly recommend him as a knowledgeable & caring doctor.

I saw him couples times, he's always rushing and don't listen to my needs. Especially for my children, always ready to prescribe something. He doesn't take the time to asses properly.
