Hard to get in and there is a bit of a language barrier when I call for inquiries.

I have been a patient for over 25 years. The staff at the clinic are excellent and many have been there for years which is comforting to see because they must be treated well and enjoy the work. Dr. Brown is an incredibly knowledgable doctor. I find her straight forward approach to health care helpful. She is matter of fact and honest. Sometimes painfully honest. She will not hold back from talking to you about behaviours that are detrimental to your physical or mental health. She's spoken to me about weight and other things that I needed to hear but did not like very much. That honest feedback has helped ensure I live a more healthy lifestyle. She is not an alarmist but will thoroughly check you over and send you for tests when necessary. I suspect her direct approach is not for everyone. If you want to live in denial about your weight or other behaviours, you may want to look elsewhere. She is also very mindful of prescribing medication. She is not a doctor who overprescribes and will only do so after careful consideration. If you are looking for an easy Dr. to write you time off or prescribe drugs, look elsewhere. She's interested in your health....no excuses. I like and respect Dr. Brown and am not looking for a friend in my physician. I'm looking for an expert. She is that, indeed. The only real downside (aside from her brutal honesty, at times) is her punctuality. It doesn't really both me but perhaps I am used to it. The staff will always suggest you call before coming in for your appointment as it may be delayed (okay...is often delayed). I just try for the first appointment after lunch or in the morning. Better chance of being on time.

We have been with Doctor Brown for 30 years, she is always very thorough and never rushes you. I had a medical concern recently and she waited for me after office hours. Doctor Brown has a wealth of knowledge and we know that we can rely on her, it will be a sad day when she retires.

I went to Dr. Brown because she was my mother in law's maternity doctor for her last child.

I found her to have very poor bedside manner and she completly lacks the tact and common sense not to make her patients feel inadequate if they're overweight in any way. She sent me for excesive tests, ultrasounds and tried to pawn me off on the High Risk clinic at the Foothills.

When I went into labour she was on the maternity floor. She sent me home telling me I was not in labour... the following morning my water broke so we went back. She got us into a waiting room told me she wasn;t sure if my water had broken and left... this was at 7am. When shift change happened the next doctor came in and asked why we came in... SERIOUSLY!? She hadn't even written it in her chart. This doctor finally moved me into a L&D room at 11am and got things going. Thanks to Dr. Brown I got to experience the birth of my first child with a stressful and ardous dry birth. I wouldn't recomend her to anyone.

I found her to have a very poor bedside manner. She judged me and made me go though all these extra tests even though other doctors in the same clinic advised against it as there was no need. She told me so many contradictory things and I was very upset for days after my appointment. I made a point not to see her again.

This doctor was very warm and compassionate. I know they were very busy at the hospital when I got there but she took the time to listen to my concerns and ensure that I was well before discharging me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brown for 24 years. She delivered both my daughters who are now in university that she sees as well. On the regular routine check up about 5 years ago she detected a lump in my throat that turned out to be cancer . It was because of her thurowness that I am cancer free today. It will be a sad day when Dr. Brown retires. She is worth the wait.

Dr. Brown is an excellent doctor. She actually spends time with her patients and really listens to their concerns. My only issue with her is that the wait to see her can be way too long.

Dr Brown is a wonderful doctor. She is knowledgeable and thorough (probably why she gets behind at times). She has seen our family through a variety of issues and delivered both our children. I too hope she remains in practice for a long time to come.
