I love Dr. George! I have two girls and have been going to him for almost three years now and couldn't be happier. He was quick to act when my oldest daughter had an issue and sent her right to a specialist that saved her. He is so personal and kind and great with kids. His staff all know us by name and always take us in right away without hesitation or much of a wait in the office. Great team all around!!

I have been a patient if Dr. George for the past 8 years. He is a kind and caring doctor his office manager Andrea is always polite, helpful and accommodating. Recently 2 of Dr. George's staff members left one had her 4th child and did not return as of yet and Keri is longer there. The two replacements are subpar at best. The thin blonde is very nasty and confrontational. I was at the office for a routine check up and needed to schedule a follow up visit. When I came out of the room she TOLD me the date and time oft next appointment the day she chose was not a day I could make it when I told her I couldn't do that date and time she banged on the desk and said fine when can you come. I wasn't trying to be difficult but my child had physical therapy on the date she chose. The other one is a heavier set girl who just has no personality and is very curt. I am very disappointed Dr. George chose these women as a representation of his practice. His new front desk girls are HORRIBLE!

PARENTS PLEASE BE CAREFUL-Dr.George Roussis seems great at first, but he is not on top of your child's health. He was my Pediatrician for 5 years, until he made a mistake that harmed my 3 year old.My daughter was running a fever for weeks, he just said not too worry it was a Virus-he never ran one test, no bloodwork, no culture, NOTHING.Long story short, the fever spiked to 106.3, we went to the Emergency room, Dr.Roussis came next day!!claimed he had no blood work-I called QUEST and had my daughter's test results sent over...If Dr.Roussis had bothered to look at her test results he would have seen the problem..he tried to blame me, saying I never took her for her blood test!! WOW, when the test was right in front of him..then he said lets just focus on the present!!I almost spit in his face, he could have cost my child her life!!Good Pediatricians run tests, I went to his office numerous times with a sick child and he never bothered to run even one blood test-thank God my child is okay

Just moved to Staten Island from Brooklyn because my husband is NYPD and was stationed here.I have 3 children, ages 7,4,2.I didn't want to travel back and forth, so my friend suggested I go to Dr. Roussis.I was hesitant, but I went for a visit and to see what happens.I was really surprised. Dr. George, as he is called, was very down to earth, had a lot of knowledge, and spent time with all 3 kids.my kids all warmed up to him immediately, he knew what he was talking about.I tried putting him on the spot with some info my Brooklyn doctor had told me about my 4 year old, and wanted to see if he had any knowledge about his situation. He started talking to me about it like he had his old chart from his old doctor, and actually explained in detail what was going on.That instance sold me on him because I didn't expect it. He is very well spoken, knowledgeable, and spend a lot of time with me and my kids.I didnt have to wait at all to be seen, and his girls upfront were all very pleasant

Dr. George is an excellent and caring doctor. There have been changes in his staff recently for the better but how he missed this one is a mistake. I needed a school form filled out quickly and brought it into the office. I gave it to Kerry, apologized for the short notice and then proceeded to be argued with and told the form would not be ready for two days. There were no patients in the office and she had time to TEXT on her phone while giving me a difficult time. Andrea then came to the desk and said the form would be ready that afternoon, she is always polite and professional. My husband came back, and picked up a form handed to him by Kerry with a DIFFERENT CHILD'S NAME. He returned again, was given the right form without even an apology. I sent in the form to school which was returned to me because of missing blood work, signature and stamp. I returned again to office where Andrea and another woman (very nice) corrected the form, apologized profusely over mistakes made by Kerry.

My children have been patients of Dr. George's for years. We have always been very happy with him and Andrea. I am writing this not only for my family but other families who also use him. We have all agreed on the same thing, the new office staff is not what we would expect to find in a pediatrician's office. While waiting in the waiting room I was able to overhear the receptionist (heavy-set one)speaking about her twins and calling them "animals" to a woman standing at the counter. While waiting to pay she kept me standing there while she was on cell phone speaking in a foreign language and also texting. At another visit while in the exam room I overhead the two girls speaking by the file cabinets (the hispanic one and the younger girl) about what they did the night before with their boyfriends, unacceptable for a children doctor's office for anyone to over hear such things. Some of us have also seen them texting and laughing very loudly. We want to stay hoping changes will be made.

Terrible stuff and office rules, didn't take my sick child, as a first time patient, because didn't receive some list from insurance company, even though I already had an insurance card with doctor's name on it. Awful staf attitude. Do NOT recommend!!!

My wife and I are totally happy with the healthcare Dr. George has been providing to my daughter and now my newborn son. He is a caring, well rounded Doctor who is willing to speak to you at any hour. My daughter loves Dr. George . When she is under the weather his charming personality puts her in a better mood. His prognosis is always correct and detailed . My wife and I could not be happier. In reference to a very disturbing post I read below , Some people may expect any Doctor to be GOD but that is not the case.i can only imagine how demanding this profession can be.keep in mind They are human beings just like everyone else and they deserve to be extended some courtesy and respect.
