I have not yet got the ventral surgery, yet, I believe, he will be just right when the time comes

I am very grateful to have had Dr Penner as my surgeon for my VSG. Right away he emits a comforting and confident energy and you just know you’re in safe hands. His team is fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Penner is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to listen and patiently explain what will happen next.
I am so very grateful to had him as my surgeon. He also has excellent staff. Very polite and helpful scheduling appointments.

Dr. Penner completed my gastric bypass in Feb 23. I was 280lbs before surgery, and I am now 190lbs in 6 months. Dr. Kenner was very efficient and I s had no complications since - thank you!

Dr Tod penner , just finished my open hernia as n over weight patient he did an amazing work , he made me feel like he cared and did the surgery well , staff was on especially when I mentioned I was diabetic, they pumped me up the list k owing I could t fast to long made me feel comfortable. Hugs to staff nd Dr Todd penner .

I found dr penner extremely cocky and in a hurry. He was an hour late running his clinic and basically handed me a consent form telling me to sign. He didn’t explain what the problem was. No discussion about what caused it or what options were available. Basically he’s the doctor and you are the patient and you can’t ask questions as that would be undermining him. Terrible experience.

Spend more time explaining my condition than any other doctor in my entire life. He was patients, not pushy, explained in detail and had tremendous sympathy for what I was going through.

Had the hernia repair about 2 weeks later the hernia returned. I phoned his office many times and never got a call back. Phoned triage nurses and they couldn’t get him to call either. My own Dr tried to make contact and nothing. Finally spoke to receptionist and was rudely told if I was that concern go to ER. Their is something seriously wrong with this scenario. Ignoring a patient doesn’t fill you with confidence nor does it address the problem.

Dr Penner is fabulous. His bedside manner is very caring and his surgery skills amazing. Very thankful that he was my surgeon

Dr Penner has a good reputation as a surgeon but I found him arrogant and rude. He did not seem to care about me just wanted to get on with cutting me open. He doesn’t understand how scary surgery is and how we completely vulnerable. I would not recommend him.
