I seen her and she little to no help... extremely rude and dismissive I was actually slowly dying and she completely brushed off all my symptoms after trying one hospitalization and told me I was just lazy because my oxygen levels and breathing was so bad I was bedbound.. so I seen a completely different specialist (an ENT) and he was able to finally diagnosed me and it turns out I have an extremely rare life threatening autoimmune disease! If I had stayed in the care of this doctor I would be dead I would not even be here writing this.

Dr. Karen Laframboise,
She is amazing, she is very knowledgeable and has been a tremendous help to me since my diagnosis with Pulmonary Hypertension. She is honest and open and answers any questions I have. She takes the time to get your input about drug side affects and make changes if necessary. Her staff are wonderful as well. I would recommend her to anybody needing a doctor that specializes in her field. Also love that I don't live in the same city but that she can arrange teleconferences through the hospital in my City.

Dr. Karen Laframboise
I was referred for cough, chest tightness and wheezing that was not clearly asthma or COPD. After a few months of wait, I was glad to have had the good fortune of a good respirologist who was able to add a dimension to my clinical condition, clarifying the probable cause of my chest symptoms. I am grateful that she honed in on this causative aspect so now I may focus in on more directed therapy , and even reduce my meds! She is a pleasant, professional person who went the extra mile to help me.

She saw my mother and mom left feeling hopeless. It seems as though she isn't willing to explore any options and suggests she just wait for death.. If she is dying anyway why not try the only meds available. Disappointed in her outlook and wonder if she discounts older peopel as "going to die anyway"....hmmmm

She did not want to help my elderly mother....made us feel like we were wasting her time. Her bedside manner is deplorable .....she needs help with her people skills. We were there one month ago.....my mother passed away two days ago.....not pleased!!!!!

Dr Karen diagnosed my problem a few years ago, after several attempts by other specialists. She is very knowledgeable yet cautious. I have complete trust in her.

Karen Laframboise helped me quickly and correctly to stop coughing and has worked hard to control the asthma/pulmonary hypertension that developed. She is knowledgeable and easy to talk to, she has a dry sense of humour and makes one feel comfortable in her clinic. Tests and procedures are followed up, and letters are sent to the GP for insurance purposes. Julie, her office support staff is friendly and professional.
