would like to thank Dr. Lew Pliamm for treating my severe right-hip osteoarthritis.
He referred me to one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Humber River Hospital, who performed the surgery with great success. Dr. Lew Pliamm referred me to all the appointments, diagnostic imaging, and tests required for this surgery.The case was handled professionally and in a timely manner. I came to him completely unable to walk, even with assistive devices. Two months after the surgery, I have regained 100% mobility: I can walk 6 km, ride my bike, and play sports. I am very thankful towards Dr. Lew Pliamm and his team for managing my case.

Dr. Pliamm is a great doctor. Yes, he is more and more difficult to get an appointment with, especially during the pandemic. But I can always access the clinic's walk-in doctor for emergencies. Still, I never get as good medical advice as I do when I speak with him. I guess this is why he is so busy. I have always enjoyed being part of Dr.Pliamm family practice.

Let's cut to the chase. This guy is an owner of a massive medical clinic and has a vested financial interest in referring you to one of his specialist employee's. That's it. He does not care about your medical health. He is only interested in the bottom line, period. He's a business man and not a doctor. He prays on the elderly Russian community who don't know any better. Everybody at the clinic speaks highly about him because their income is dependent on his referrals, period. Do yourself a favour and seek out a proper, caring family physician. There are many of them you just have to look. He may know how to do a good job, but that's not what he cares about and it shows. Trust me, I was a former patient and now see the light. Dasvedani Dr. Pliamm. Tvia mats carova. Bye the way Dr. Pliamm, just because some of your patients don't speak Russian well doesn't mean that they don't understand Russian and we know what you're saying right in front of us. You should be ashamed of yourself. I'm actually quite shocked that an auditor for the CPSO doesn't question your very many referrals for things that are bread and butter in family medicine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lew’s for years. Although he is quite busy and it may be more than a couple weeks’ time to get an appointment with him, it is always worth the wait. He always provides helpful advice and, due to his many years of experience, he has always been able to assist me with my health issues. I was not sure this would be possible with a virtual visit, but he was still on top of my medical needs, which I really appreciated during this difficult time. Yes, some of his staff can be very formal, and I have often had to leave a message, but they do get back to me and always arrange any follow-up/tests.

I usually do not write reviews, but during this challenging time it was great to be able to access Dr. ‘Pliamm when I needed him. The appointment during COVID was virtual. He called me on time and reassured me that I still would get the care I needed and that if an in person visit was necessary he would accommodate me. It was great to actually be able to speak with a doctor who cared. His staff was able to e-mail me referrals for follow-up tests within a day. It did take a couple days for the reception to call me back initially for an appointment but after that it was smooth.

Been my family doctor since I was a little kid. The wait times, staff, and lightning fast appointments make me dread ever seeing this guy. I will be finding a new family doctor now that I'm old enough.

Useless is an understatement for this guy. Had him as a family doctor for 10+ years; I don't like to visit him because this is just wasting my time, avoid him.
