Dr. T has been my therapist for over 5 years. He is a great therapist and more importantly a terrific person. He is caring and always has his patients’ best interest at heart. He is always there for me when I need him. He guided me through a very difficult time, couldn’t have done it without him. Whenever I am anxious, he is able to calm me down. Dr. T is one of a kind! I always look forward to my next session.

I first went to see Dr. T. in 1992 for help with a family crisis.  Dr. T. was able to quickly provide assistance to what was a hopeless and potentially dangerous situation.  He provided the tools and suggestions I needed to make the best of a very bad situation.  It allowed my parents to live in safety and comfort for seven more years.  He also provided me with guidance  for my own emotional well being through this situation.
Nearly thirty years later I needed help with a sad and stressful event in our family.  Dr. T. was again quickly able to help me sort out the emotional view from the “truthful” side of this difficult situation.  His reflections on this problem gave me the confidence in my decisions in a situation that created great stress.
Although the periods of visits were short and separated by many years, Dr. Tornatore made a huge positive impact on my life.  His ability to help one see the issues clearly and truthfully is his greatest asset.  He has been both supportive and corrective when needed.  I can honestly say I have been blessed to have Dr. Tornatore be by side through difficult times.

Dr. Tornatore, (Dr. T), has been more than just a therapist for me. His truly caring about finding solutions to life issue for young and old is excellent. Dr. T has always been spot-on guiding me through all kinds of the difficulties that life may bring. It doesn't matter what it is in family, relationships, marriage, divorce, single parenting or whatever life may through your way . His guidance comes with honesty and knowledge. Dr. Tornatore, known as Dr. T, has been my therapist and my families therapist for 20+ years. Dr. T has guided me through the adversities that life has thrown at me whether work related or family related. His honesty, knowledge, and guidance has enabled me to become a better husband, father, brother, son, friend, employee and business owner.

My life had tragedy, sadness, happiness and success and through all of these many different situations of life, Dr. T has enabled me to embrace these situations. I have faced adversity but what I do after the adversity defines me. Without Dr. T, I would have lived in the adversity. Dr. T enabled me to work through my adversities and become a better man. Dr. T shows me and all of his patients respect, kindness and unconditional love. Dr. T does not consider his profession a job but as an ability to help others and a chance to better our society.

I honestly can say that without Dr. T as my therapist, I would probably not be here as my demons would have conquered me. Dr. T has enabled me to strengthen my family relationship, strengthen my faith and conquer my demons.

I don't know where to begin. I have been under Dr. T's care for many years now. On and off, but every month now. When I speak to him he gives me a sense of calmness, he is insightful, he is a healer, he never judges me, he listens and remembers and helps. I don't know what I would do if he ever retired. This man is all you could ever need or want in a therapist. He has guided me through some of the worst times in my life.

Dr. Nick is the best there is... not much more can be said. He is no ordinary counselor, but a Doctor in the true sense of the word- he is a healer. I recommend Dr. T to anyone who is considering seeking professional counseling services because I have complete trust in his care. I was introduced to Dr. Tornatore back in 2012. from a dear friend that was his patient for over three years.
Although I was doing therapy with someone else I decided to go in for a session just to see if I would get the “aha moment” (intended as a moment of sudden insight and deep self-discovery) that my friend was claiming to get at the end of each session.
I didn’t know what to expect. I was working with my therapist (my first and only at that time) and the sessions were covered by my health insurance. Although I trusted my friend’s judgement, I wasn’t sure if it was worth it.
After I had my session, and without any expectations, I got the “aha moment”. I walked out from his office with a deep feeling of inner clarity. As if everything just fell in place and there was no reason for me to overthink. That feeling stick with me. Eventually I finished my therapy and my therapist retired.
After my dad passed away, I needed some help to deal with the grief and saw Dr. Tornatore: His opinion was very honest and helped me to find the strength I needed in that moment to face my harsh reality. I went to see him thinking I needed to do therapy again, but he dismissed that and made me aware that I had learned all the tools I needed to deal with the situation. I didn’t need to do therapy again. He did give me some tips that helped me tremendously to move on. After the session I was on my way home with a new feeling of inner calmness, clear mind, and feeling stronger and more confident about myself
After that time, I go back to see him periodically (two or three times per year) even if I don’t need therapy. I feel that I need to talk to him just to check in with myself. I go back to find that inner clarity, that “Aha moment”. To have reassurance that I am working on myself and moving on from my past patterns.
I feel very fortunate and blessed to have met Dr. Tornatore and to have the opportunity to work with him.
