he's a very nice man and an amazing doctor. We are lucky to have him.

Won't listen to mental health concerns. Extremely opinionated. Chooses personal opinions over professional opinions. Got better help from calling a random doctor when I had a mental health crisis. Meanwhile, Kachan claimed he couldnt help me and then went on another vacation while I continued to suffer.

Terrible doctor. Just the absolute worst. Not his patient anymore for a long time, but know people who still are and my heart aches for them and what they go through. I won’t go into details and risk privacy, but it’s really bad. I don’t believe many of these positive reviews unless it’s all healthy people there just for a “check up” or a med refill (which any typical doctor knows, they should be just faxing those instead of this guy who has lapsing prescriptions due to no appointment spots since he bulks up his easy appointment slots just to get paid for quickies and skip the hard stuff because he’s too “booked”, like come on now..)

Some reviews seem unhappy yet still give 3 stars despite terrible outcomes- something seems off.

Anyway, 100 times do not recommend. I’ve tried to source new doctors to help but there’s just none out there. Probably why everyone is too afraid to say anything negative. His information is often wrong and biased and quite frankly manipulative. I almost never leave reviews but I had to.

No less than 3 times i have done a phone call for med refills and he has not sent it to the pharmacy. Complete waste of time when I go to pick them up, and the Pharmacy has to contact Kachans office.
Frustrating beyond anything.

Dr. Kachan is a kind, patient, knowledgeable man. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

it’s hard not to like him because he’s been my doctor for so long and has a kind warm spirit but i feel dr kachan is the type of doctor to ignore mental health emergencies , also got ignored when i was supposed to get referred, i don’t know why his receptionist is so f’ing mean but i’m glad i’m not the only person who’s been a victim of her. i have no idea why she is so rude every. single. time. i ain’t never do nothing to you linda so why are you treating me like a murderer in a police interrogation. he is a great guy and good doctor but should prioritize how his patients feel way more when there is urgency and how much time they have to fix their health, after all we depend on him, and i just hate booking appointments cause of linda. is it that hard to tell her to not make his clients feel like bs after every call and visit?

he’s ok however he missed my moms skin cancer 3 times until she had to go to the hospital, misdiagnosed mental health disorders easily and yes does make u feel guilt for needing your own medication. acts like a kno it all doctors who haven’t been in school in over 10 years. anyway if u need help with a cold he’s ok but anything more i truly wouldn’t recommend. also his receptionist is nasty, it’s literally her job that’s very relax and ppl wish to have so there’s no need for consistent rude actions.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kachan for 25 years or so. Great doctor, great bed side manners, knowledgeable, great communicator.

I want to address the previous comments about the receptionist Linda. Linda has been nothing but kind, sincere and helpful, be it in person or in the phone.

Dr Kachan has been compassionate and respectful and evidence based. Linda his receptionist is condescending and never compassionate. I not sure she is in the right line of work. I would have left because of her but dr’s are too hard to find.

Dr. Kachan is by far the most caring doctor I have ever had. Same goes for his office team! I hope he doesn't plan on retiring anytime soon.
