A doctor of uncommon compassion with many specialist recommendations. However she did not diagnose my electromagnetic hypersensitivity which resulted in months of severe sleep problems, GI problems, fatigue, cognitive and balance issues. Recommend everyone screen themselves for it (if not through a functional medicine doctor) and treat according to the emfacademy site. 10 percent of the American population or more is estimated to be hypersenstivite to EMR radiation with 30 to 50 percent mild to moderate, growth is exponential.    https://emfacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Mallery-Blythe-v1-EESC.pdf

I was told to come in 30 min later and then I had to wait 45 minutes, and it was after their closing time so I KNEW she'd be rushing me out. I already suspected she would just tell me to see a specialist and there was nothing she could do; lo and behold, that's what she did. It was a rushed 15 min apptmt where she told me she couldn't do something that other doctors did for me when I came in with the same problem, because I needed to have prepped for it for 5 days before (which guarantees the patient has to come in AGAIN).

I don't know why I went back. She seems to try to scrape money from the few clients she gets. Another college student said he couldn't get multiple refills from her and had to travel home from school once every 3 months to see her to get it.

I also agree that the receptionist seems fairly incompetent. She didn't know if I could use my debit card as credit, and to top it off, she forgot to give me my $50 back (because I ended up not paying with cash). Now I have to go back and fight for it on my way to work because I can't take off again.

Avoid this doctor in my opinion. Find someone else. There are plenty of other doctors out there.

Dr. Lanter is thorough and caring and her staff is friendly and knowledgeable. her schedule is appropriate. people have to remember that emergencies do happen and long wait times are likely the result of unforseen circunstances - have some patience! One day it could be YOU who requires extra time and attention!

She was late then spent time on a personal phone call and seemed angry at me about something. I left feeling anxious and still needing medical help. I never went back.

Wow, I'm impressed by these last two reviews on Dr. Lanter. She must have changed or nudged her friends to speak up. While I like Dr. Lanter as a person, it's obvious her staff is paid minimum wage. They are not caring and seem like they just honestly don't care. One thing that I don't like about Dr. Lanter is she does not call you with the lab results, her nurse does and the last time I checked her nurse was sub-par at best. Now's she's associating herself with Privia Healthcare, which is a member only network. I'm wondering how this is going to work for her since it seems like most of her patients are Medicad patients.

Dr. Lanter has been my Dr. for the past 3 years. She is smart, concerned and a good listener. I trust her judgement and advice. Yes, the waiting time is sometimes long but her nurse is top notch and her staff friendly.

I've been seeing Dr. Lanter for more than 6 years and think she's been very helpful on a number of different issues. She runs the right tests, doesn't over-prescribe antibiotics, listens well, and really thinks through things. Her staff has changed over time, but the current folks are terrific -- they remember my name and my baby daughter (who came with me to a visit once) and are genuinely caring and personable. I've been able to get in on the same day when I'm feeling ill -- the trick is to call as soon as the office opens in the morning -- she usually has slots available for sick visits.

She was always late and kept me waiting when she got there. She seemed angry and rushed although there was never more than one person in the waiting room.
