Would not listen to me that triamcinolone was not helping my pain in my neck. I asked if he could use a different injection, Said maybe, but He never did. Just same. He did unnecesssry urine tests. Didn't believe me that I do not take drugs. He was egotistical and nothing I said mattered. I stopped going to him. He didn't help me at all.

Dr. Guarini gas a giant ego and according to him he's always right. I told him the increase in pain medication had made me unable to stay awake. I asked if he could decrease the dose. He told me my increase in pain medication was not causing me to fall asleep all day. U found a different pain doctor who agreed with me and took me off the medication Dr G has a giant ego and I had to change pain doctors due to his egomaniac. He also always ran an hour or two late

Hurt more than any pain I ever felt, thought he was suppose to relieve the pain! He said he found the exact nerve that was effected for my hernia disc, should have another shot in 3 weeks. Well I was so traumatized by the first one, I just didn't answer then, thought I 'll call later.First 24hrs was wonderful, first time I slept in 7 months. Then each day started to wear off more and more. About two weeks went by and I was getting very nervous about the thoughts of going through that shot again. I called and spoke to a nurse and asked her to please ask the Dr since he knew exactly the nerve that was being pressed against, if the second shot wouldn't hurt as bad because he could avoid directly hitting that spot. The nurse called back in 2 hrs said Quote he said I don't know if its going to hurt! Not only the way she said that sounded very sarcastic and rude but how in the **** he couldn't know the answer to that. He could at least been human and said well I'll do everything I CAN NOT TO HIT IT AGAIN(SOMETHING REASSURING)! Bottom line he is a jerk and like one review I read on another site has 50 people waiting for nothing more that a many shots as possible he can do and that is all he cares about, not the people he is giving the shots too!

After 15 years of seeing this arrogant jerk they found a small amount of alcohol in a random test. I don't disagree it was there but I rarely drink and it was a half of glass of wine. The first thing one of his henchmen Donna called and went totally ballistic on me so I go back and he wants another urine test and wants it done in his office. If you are not aware this $50 test costs $565 so I refused and had it done elsewhere when the results returned he said they messed it up and abruptly cut meds off. I had less than a week left to ween off of and eventually I've got through it. My advice is to stay away from this so called Dr he is a egotistical nobody but likes to show you how strong he is by playing with your medicines AKA small phalix syndrome.

He is an arrogant jerk that is in the business of giving injections as often as possible. He has a nice racket as you are basically required to get a shot no matter what the issue. He will do the injection as often as possible so he can bill the insurance company. Just remember that you are nothing but an annuity to this guy.

Have been treated twice since 1998. Dr Guarino is considerate and thoughtful and, most important, the pain in my back and leg went away after two treatments both times.

This doctor is a real prick. He has no bedside manners, and is about arrogant as can be. I soul see the doctor who he shares his office with, Dr. Dave.

Useless. Refused to deal with my medication because "you have too many drug sensitivities." Only wanted to do injections into my spinal cord which are prohibited by my neurologist, which left me with absolutely nothing.

I was in a diabetic coma, spent two weeks in the ICU at MO-BAP Hospital, then several days in a normal room. I never ate one thing while in the hospital; once I was home, I was still unable to eat (I had no idea that stage four cirrhosis of the liver causes a person to loose any apatite. Three weeks without eating, and being a diabetic, I became desperate,I called a friend, and asked him if I could have tow or thee puffs of some marijuana. The stuff worked like magic, as I was finally hungry again. I had told Dr. G.'s nurse about what had happen, she ran to tell Dr. G. what I did. He had had me drug tested, and the test came back negative for any pot in my system. I have a morphine pump implanted in my body, since 1998, and always had breakthrough pain meds. But ever since my admitting of trying two hits of pot, he REFUSED to give me any for breakthrough pain. The only thing he would do, was increase the flow rate of my pump, going from 45 days between refills to 20 days.
