The best doctor we have ever had, and we're not young any more. Absolute encyclopaedic knowledge of every aspect of medicine as it relates to us and always willing to explain why any particular medicine, procedure, test or treatment is best-suited for us. Dr. Chew has a very caring attitude and is unfailing in his interest in us and our on-going health. We could not ever ask for a better doctor and have appreciated him beyond words these past 16 years.

Spends time with patients. Not an "assembly line doctor". This sometimes means there are delays but staff are very helpful (can call and they'll tell you if he's running late and by how much). Keeps up to date on medical research and will not hesitate to recommend treatment changes if new studies suggest better approaches.

Dr Chew has been my doctor for over 15 years. His experience is very valuable. I am very appreciative that he listens to more than one health issue during an appointment as they can be related and can at times be useful for solving a problem. Dr. Chew is kind and caring and I feel so lucky to have him as my family doctor.

I’m 78 years old and I’ve had a few doctors in my life and I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chew’s for about 25 years. He’s the best doctor I’ve ever had.

Dr. Chew has been our doctor for 8 years. We find him to be very thorough, he listens and is always caring. Over the past 8 years he has always provided excellent diagnosis and treatments, sending us to Specialists when required. In this regard his early diagnosis helped in getting treatment and avoiding a serious illness.
Yes you may have to wait a hour or two to see him, however you can always phone ahead to check on the wait time. The wait is well worth it to know that you have a family doctor who knows your medical history.
He is very dedicated and is a highly skilled professional.

An extremely knowledgeable and professional physician. Dr. Chew has cared for my mother's multiple medical issues for the past 45+ years, and was the family physician I grew up with. He is an excellent diagnostician; he very quickly and accurately determines what is wrong and recommends effective treatments. He stays up to date on the latest medical developments. He is very caring and compassionate, and has gone above and beyond the call of duty in the care of my mother on multiple occasions. He has done home visits and hospital visits, sometimes late at night, if the need arose. Our whole family trusts him and respects him greatly. We are very grateful to have him as my mum's physician.

At the age of 90, I have been a very fortunate patient of Dr. Chew for 20 years. He has ably treated me for age-related ailments plus other unforeseen difficulties. I have the utmost respect for his superior knowledge and his kind and considerate treatment. When he is with a patient in the examining room, he is completed focused, and can usually determine the problem and begin the treatment. Reassuringly, he does not hesitate to refer his patients to specialists.
Most Doctors are too rushed with 10-minute appointments, and the problem is paper work. Can bureaucracy change the system so MDs are not drained of their energy and their expertise is not wasted? More patients could be treated, and wait-times diminished. Doctors would be less stressed, happier, and more productive, and hopefully properly paid for their experience..
