I had Cataract . The first operation went well. The surgeon told me that the expensive lenses are better. so I chose the expensive lenses believing that I'll need reading glasses because he told me so. After the second operation I felt that the second, left eye was weeker but Dr. Faber calmed me down saying that it will take time to the eye to improve. I decided to go to the optometrist to check my eyes for reading glasses. The optometrist said that my Left eye will need glasses in the night and she saw some demage which she has not seen in my previous tests so she sent me to specialist. She also said that I have bifocall lenses and I need reading glasses 2.50 and 2.25. I went back to Dr. Faber and complain about it, so he said that everything is O.K. and the first time he told me that I got bifocat lenses and gave me drops for when it will itch in the left eye. I went few days later to the specialist Dr. Albiani who said that I need correction operation to the left eye and gave me time in 2 weeks in which he perform correctional operation. I went back to the sheet that I signed and I discovered that I paid for TRI-FOCAL Pan Optics .
It leaves me totally confused.
I had the impresion that I had cataract operation for seeing from far for driving and glasses for reading. I got bifocal glasses in the operation I paid for tri focal. I have bifocal but I need reading glasses and I had to have extra corrective operation which was very stressful.
