I had Cataract . The first operation went well. The surgeon told me that the expensive lenses are better. so I chose the expensive lenses believing that I'll need reading glasses because he told me so. After the second operation I felt that the second, left eye was weeker but Dr. Faber calmed me down saying that it will take time to the eye to improve. I decided to go to the optometrist to check my eyes for reading glasses. The optometrist said that my Left eye will need glasses in the night and she saw some demage which she has not seen in my previous tests so she sent me to specialist. She also said that I have bifocall lenses and I need reading glasses 2.50 and 2.25. I went back to Dr. Faber and complain about it, so he said that everything is O.K. and the first time he told me that I got bifocat lenses and gave me drops for when it will itch in the left eye. I went few days later to the specialist Dr. Albiani who said that I need correction operation to the left eye and gave me time in 2 weeks in which he perform correctional operation. I went back to the sheet that I signed and I discovered that I paid for TRI-FOCAL Pan Optics .
It leaves me totally confused.
I had the impresion that I had cataract operation for seeing from far for driving and glasses for reading. I got bifocal glasses in the operation I paid for tri focal. I have bifocal but I need reading glasses and I had to have extra corrective operation which was very stressful.

I was very disappointed. Dr. Faber did not give me an option to choose the lenses. He should have verbally explain the whole things to me. But he did not. as a result, he removed my cataract and replaced with cheap lenses that covered by the healthcare. if he did tell me, I should have chosen the higher quality. He is also in a rush!

An hour and twenty minute wait for a two minute appointment!! Not acceptable to sit in a doctors office for this long during Covid times. No apologies, staff are oblivious. A good Opthalmologist but very poor business practices.

Dr Faber is good...but his office staff are atrocious. They will leave you on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnect you and be rude to deal with. I hope I never have to deal with them again. He is a good ophthalmologist but does not hire good staff.

Dr Faber has always been a genuine caring professional doctor but as noted the wait times can be extreme. Due to covid I was in and out today in half hour. I am impressed. If only it could always be this way.

Had cataract surgery by Dr. Faber. I'm very happy with his work.
Have to agree with some of the other comments though - long waits at his outer office.
