Dr. DiIorio is a very pleasant rheumatologist who is very pragmatic in her diagnosing. She is up to date on the latest treatments for fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, lupus and other connective tissue diseases. I highly recommend her.

This doctor misdiagnosed a condition and was insensitive and arrogant when asked why she insisted that I had the condition. She didn't listen to my comments. I did not return and would not recommend this doctor.

My Orthopedist sent me to Dr. Diiorio-for the second time due to a knee problem that he assured me was inflammatory. I had seen her for the first time about 6 months before and she gave me a clean bill of health. The minute she walked into the room she admonished me for being late (that's rich for doctor to complain that patients keep them waiting)and then asked me "So why are you here-I saw you in February and told you everything was fine." At that point I was about to cry-but I didn't. The rest of the appointment she was very dissmissive of my feelings or concerns. At one point I told her of a symtpon I was having in case it would help her diagnose my knee problem. She basically treated me like I wanted free advice and said "I don't know what's causing that" as if to say "How the Hell am I supposed to know and why are you telling me?" She treated me for the medical issue but the whole time I felt as if I was imposing on her time and expertise. I will never go back to her.

Dr. Di is always helpful and willing to listen to what I have to say. She is involved in current clinical trials, always knows what is going on with new drugs and is willing to explain all of that to me. I like that she always encourages me to call her between appointments if I am not well or if I have questions. And when I have called her she has always returned my phone calls the same day-herself. She doesn't just have the nurse call me back. She is also always willing to write orders for things like physical therapy, orthotics and other things that make my life easier. I moved out of state recently and now have to drive almost two hours to her office but I have no plans on changing rhuemys.

I have been a patient of Dr. DiIorio's for approximately five years and am a FM sufferer with osteoarthritis. I find her to be upbeat and charming as well as knowledgable and a good listener. She takes the time to listen and analyze complaints and to put together symptoms, labs and meds. She knows me as a person, not just a patient and takes this all into account when offering treatment options.

This doctor appears to be a very insecure person. Furthermore, she is so self-aware that she is entirely unaware of how she treats her patients. Maybe unintentionally, she insulted my intelligence. This doctor has no respectable bedside manners, and did not listen to me, the patient. She is also not up to date with current research, as I found out on the Internet she was providing outdated information. However, she has great staff and a beautiful office.
