All these glowing reviews are right - he is super awesome! came to him after horrible experience with somebody else and he really worked to build trust didnt assume he had or deserved it from the start. Hes a blessing

AMAZING DOCTOR. My child, at 6 years old was having random bouts of crying but could not tell us what was going on. She immediately seemed to form a connection with this doc and he has helped her examine what was causing her pain, and how to deal with it instead of letting it bubble up inside. I am so grateful for this doc!

This doctor was so calm, my child seemed to relax with him right away, I was surprised. He was able to get my child to talk about what was going on with him like I never could, I was very impressed. The information he was able to offer to us was extremely helpful and the parenting tips he gave us were immediately helpful. Where has this doctor been all my life? Our child is really doing so much better only after a few sessions with Dr. Kirk, I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for help with their child. He was terrific.

This doctor was excellent. He understood exactly what was happening with my child. He was very insightful and extremely helpful with our child's problem. He visited with us for several sessions and our child is doing so much better because of his assistance. Please take your child to him./

Wonderful Doctor, excellent credentials, spent hours with our daughter for her evaluation. Spoke with us in length and explained in layman's terms her illness. Helpful with contacts and referrals for us. Our insurance has now changed but he still has helped us with regards to a lawyer for our daughter regards IEP through the schools where we live. Highly Recommend this Doctor!!!

This doctor spent one visit with me and my son and did not interact with my son at all, except to be stern with him upon meeting ("Sit down!"). My son was terrified of him. This did not help since I went to see him to help my son deal with his fears. He called me back to see him one-on-one before agreeing to schedule a 2nd appointment with my son for therapy. At this meeting he informed me that my son likely has autism. I was shocked (he is 6 with no symptoms of this). I consulted a regional center who specializes in autism and they asked numerous questions to determine the likelihood of such a diagnosis. They determined my son does NOT have autism or anything close and they were extremely perplexed as to why this doctor felt he did. I would advise any parent to please be careful of any therapist or mental health professional labeling your child, especially when they do not even spend any time interacting with your child. An immediate diagnosis is a huge red flag.
