Dr. McAllister is the absolute best doctor around. She cares! She's thorough! She knows her work. She's great with people. I am so blessed to have such an incredible family Dr. Even her nurse practitioner is amazing. Highly recommend.

She started out to be a good doctor now she absolutely horrible! We have left so many messages and voice-mails and NO answer back. She doesn't care about her patients care and well being. My husband is suffering because of her. She is no help when we need her the most. If you have a chronic illness all I can say to you is best wishes if you have her as your doctor because she does NOT care! I am extremely upset by her. She has gone down the past few years.

Dr McAllister has been my family doctor for 12 years. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a physician. She is very personable. She is no nonsense and can tell when I am holding out on her and will call me on it. She is very bright and quickly gets to the medical issue at hand. I have had very positive experiences with her care on a variety of medical issues. She runs a tight practice and has always been on time for appointments and at the same time makes me feel heard during her consult. She also genuinely cares about me. The clinic itself is very well run and also provides walk in services after hours. I have dealt with the other doctors in the clinic and they are excellent. The nursing staff are available as well to assist with flu shots and other minor medical activities. They are excellent. Counter staff are helpful. Office is spacious and clean.

After a bicep Tempe is injury, I was put on so many opiates by this physician whom I had thought highly of for years. I was rendered unable to function due to the opiates and ended up with more severe pain due to opiate induced hyperalgesia. Opiates do not help with neuropathic pain. She prescribed me opiates, fentanyl based fentora in mass quantity without education on this medication, only on her conversation with another patient. She then abruptly ceased all my opiates without so much as a word to me, sending me into a dangerous withdrawal. She is negligent and irresponsible in her opiates prescribing. I became opiate free with the help of my pain physician, despite her violation of CMA prescribing protocol to wean or discuss with me or my pain clinic physician regarding opiate use, cancelling because of a concern without communication.. She nearly killed me with her inability to recognize what it was doing to me, and I lost everything, my business and life as I knew it. Be warned.

Not sure who wrote about Heather in that manner. But I've been with Dr. McAllister for 15 years, Heather and Dr. McAllister are very personable, caring and go above and beyond. I'm 38 and have been treated and listened too for the 15 years I've been going.

Dr. Mcallister is exceptional! She listens and genuinely cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond for patients and is thorough. She is compassionate and ensures that she follows up with your health issues. She is the kind of doctor that all other physicians should model themselves after. Exceptional bed-side manner. Always friendly and positive as a person. Very knowledgeable.
The only issue that has nothing to do with her are the nurses at the Brooklin medical Centre are terrible and sometimes the administrative staff are not always friendly or helpful except for Heather, she is great!

An amazing doctor. Dr. McAllister has been my primary physician for many years and has gone far above what any other healthcare professional has done for me. She is always listening and and comes up with great treatments and suggestions to help with the issues I have. I wish we could clone her so that everyone could have a doctor as spectacular as her.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McAllister. My daughter was in palliative care in our home over a two year period and we were extremely fortunate to have her guide us through some turbulent times. Very caring & compassionate, extremely punctual...an extraordinay person. Reflecting back to 2013 when my daughter passed I feel overwhelmingly blessed that we had this great doctor to see us through the most difficult time in our lives.
