I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McAllister. My daughter was in palliative care in our home over a two year period and we were extremely fortunate to have her guide us through some turbulent times. Very caring & compassionate, extremely punctual...an extraordinay person. Reflecting back to 2013 when my daughter passed I feel overwhelmingly blessed that we had this great doctor to see us through the most difficult time in our lives. I was a patient for many years. She was exceptionally good and her care was personal, professional, high caliber and informative. Unfortunately, my experience in the past few years has declined. She no longer has the time to be that great Dr she once was and after a few questionable experiences I no longer have the confidence in her care. She'll always be a good Dr but may have lost the dedication to her patients that made her exceptional.

Dr. McAllister has been my GP for approx. 6 years. She practices in the Brooklin Medical Centre. It is a 25 min. drive from my apt. to the Centre. Dr. McAllister was recommended to me by my sister. My sister and I have similar disorders, Fybromyalgia being the most common disorder between my sister and me. I had to look for another Doctor who was knowledgeable with pain syndromes. My doctor in Uxbridge (where I live) closed his practice and moved very far away. Dr. McAllister tackled my problem head-on and made amazing progress in treating my very nasty pain. To-day, as I write this (July 12, 2014), I am feeling much better than 6 years ago. I continue to see her about once per month for follow-up appointments and reporting any changes that may occur to my situation.

Dr. McAllister is an incredibly compassionate, understanding and dedicated doctor. She is always willing to take the time to understand and address my concerns. She is straightforward, realistic, and committed to her patients. While no one likes waiting for their appointment, I know that if she is running behind it is because she is taking the time with someone who needs her. This makes me willing to wait, because I know she will do the same for me. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for myself and my family.

I first met her through the hospital when she was doing palliative care. She is phenomenal as a family physician. She takes time to talk with, listen to her patients and she cares about us as individuals. She does not make you feel rushed at all, even though the waiting room may be busy. This means that at times, you may have to wait a bit for your appointment, but the wait is worthwhile, since when you see her, she still doesn't rush you. I truly appreciate her thoroughness knowledge and caring.

Dr. McAllister has been a life saver for our whole family for about 10 years now. We love her for her thoroughness, her personality and she genuinely cares about us. I rate her at least a 10 out of 5 .

Dr.McAllister is a wonderful caring doctor. I had a miscarriage six years ago. At the time it was absolutely devastating. She was phenomenal through the whole experience and sat in her office holding my hand with tears in her eyes for me. Truly a wonderful woman. She will remember you and your kids and make them feel important. When completing examinations on the kids she always asks me if she can look at their "privates" first and talks to the kids about what is not appropriate for other people to do. She is very thorough and open to your suggestions.

This doctor is amazing. I can't say enough good things about her. I once was in the walk in not expecting to see her at all. She had her coat on and was about to leave, she saw me called me to her office, she took her coat off and took the time to see me. I can name many other times where she does the little things that are so appreciative.

Dr. McAllister is the most amazing doctor I have ever had. I am so lucky to have her as my family practitioner. She has spent endless time with me trying to deal with my many health issues. She listens carefully and demonstrates empathy at every visit. No matter how busy she is or how many patients she has seen in a day, she continues to treat everyone with respect and dignity. Dr. McAllister is not only an amazing physician but also a very lovely and caring human being. Thank you Dr. McAllister for everything you have done for both me and my family.
