Dr. Bhatia has been our physician for a number of years. We really like her. She is personable and knowledgeable, but as others have said, it is difficult to get an appointment to see her. (This has been an ongoing problem over the last 4-5 years, even before Covid. With Covid, we now are able to get phone appointments sooner, tho often with her NP.)

Another problem is the longggg telephone waits to even speak with someone at the clinic (to make an appt, etc.). First one must listen to the clinic's long "generic" spiel, and then often there are multiple callers before you. Should we really need to wait for 30 minutes to make an appointment?

The open hours of the clinic seem to be decreasing and no phone calls are taken during Suggestions:
Why not have an answering machine on which we can leave messages?
Why can we not make appointments online like at so many other places?
When will we be able to communicate with the office via email?

But, yes, Dr. Bhatia is good.

Dr. Bhatia is a very good doctor in terms of knowledge and is super friendly. However, over the last few years it's been very difficult to get appointments with her. She does have a nurse practitioner who is also very good so it does help when you urgently need to get in to see someone.

Her staff on the other hand are absolutely terrible. Reception are incredibly rude, condescending, always seem bothered with your questions, impossible to reach on the phone, have messed up sending records to specialists several times, are not helpful with questions or will interupt you to basically get you off the phone ASAP. Their office has the CUSHIEST hours ever, half day Fridays and phone lines close during lunch (Must be nice). They also dont take voicemails when they are closed for lunch. If you are not making an appointment and just have a general question, good luck getting a call back!

I cannot say enough about how caring and knowledgeable Dr Bhatia is. I travel an hour to see her and will continue to do so. I have the utmost confidence in her!

Dr. Bhatia is a wonderful doctor BUT she's very hard to see. The last 2-3 years it seems she's mostly been on mat leave. (That is great for her and baby, of course, but not too wonderful for patients. Dr. Bhatia has provided doctors or nurse practitioners to care for her patients, but their skill has varied considerably.) Even when Dr. Bhatia IS in the office, we typically need to wait 4 weeks or more for an appointment. So, much as I like Dr. Bhatia, I'd really suggest someone else - especially if you have young children or need appointments that are more timely.

She is an amazing doctor and person. She managed to get coverage (when locums are hard to get) so she could have some time with her baby. So happy for her!

She is a good doctor unfortunately she is NEVER available. When my child is in pain I expect to be able to see my doctor about it without having to wait a month for an appointment. Find another doctor if you want personal care.

Dr. Bhatia is a wonderful GP. She looks after my entire family including 2 grandchildren. She always takes the time to listen and always keeps to her schedule. I also love Adrianna who never fails to call me back when I leave a message and is always respectful a nd caring. We are so lucky to have found such a great doctor and have missed her terribly during her maternity leave.
