He misdiagnosed my husband and tho he usually recommended specialist in Toronto sent him to one not popular one in Whitby x2 and husband ended up dying with cancer. He carries personal problems to work with him, is grumpy and condescending. He pushes medication big time, even 0pioids.

The gaslighting is insane as a female patient. He does not like other doctors findings and will pretend like he has never heard of the other doctor that has been brought up for years. Not helpful. My kids are at the point where they feel there is no point going to him as they feel he doesn’t listen or shuts them down.

Dr Hsieh has been physician for 35 years. He is a first rate doctor and a very caring person. I never feel rushed , he is thorough and compassionate and very quick to refer you to specialists when needed. It's like consulting a family member and Bev and Melissa are the same , will do their best to accommodate you as much as professional. I cannot say enough about this team , thank you doc , Bev and Melissa for taking such good care of me and my family

Staff receptive as soon as you arrive. Moved into examination room, with little wait for doctor to arrive. Dr. Hsieh reviewed recent reports in patient file than looked for reason of visit. Completed examination and then proceeded with referral to specialist. Office staff worked with a number of different specialists and then helped to coordinate new appointment. All went very well.

Dr Hsieh has always been very thorough with me, either personally or by getting me to a specialist when needed. He took my father and stepmother on when their Dr retired without notice or referral to another Dr and was available for in person appointments all through covid. Bev is personable, helpful and efficient. My only worry is finding a comparable Dr when he reaches retirement

As my Family Doctor for over 20 years Dr. Hsieh is not the same. He seems cold, uncaring and indifferent to mee as his patient. He doesn't listen nor respond to your ailment in a positive way. In fact, he seems absent from the conversation, doesn't provide any sound medical responses. It's as if he's not there. He shows zero empathy, almost as if he no longer cares. He was a great Doctor 20 years ago but that's no longer who he is. So sad for us, his patients.

As a patient for over 30 years I chose to leave because of the aforementioned reasons from others on this forum. Dr. Hsieh doesn’t listen or provide any medical explanations. While he was a great doctor in the 90s and early 2000s I feel that his methods have become disingenuous and impersonal.

Dr Hsieh is so wonderful, he is compassionate, kind, intelligent and hilarious 😆 His staff Bev and Melissa work so hard and are above reproach. I have been a patient for over 15 years.

Switched to Hsieh when one of my friends told me he did a house call for her-he's been amazing ever since, extremely helpful, takes the time to listen and the staff are wonderful women! I feel like family there and they are always able to get me in last minute when I have an emergency
