Dr. Thomas was my OB for both my babies. When I moved uptown to Richmond Hill, I still kept her as my OB because she isTHAT good. She is direct and incredibly knowledgable to guide you through your pregnancy journey. Even though she did not deliver both my babies, she still came to check on me post delivery to make sure I was okay when she was in the hospital. Her team Antonella & Kathy are patient and attentive. You will be in the best care with her.

Dr, Thomas is the best. She was my OB and also delivered my baby. If you have a high risk pregnancy you don’t want anyone else. My baby was on the bigger side, and Dr. Thomas took great care in explaining things, and coaching me through the process. She is direct and doesn’t sugar coat anything - but that’s the kind of doctor I like. Thank you Dr. Thomas :)

Seventeen years ago today, Dr.Thomas came in on her day off to deliver my baby. She had looked after me for 128 days while I dealt with a high risk pregnancy. She was my champion and my support through a very long process . Thank you so much again Dr.Thomas because if your incredible care back then Gracie is about to stsrt her last year of high school and is thriving! X

She was not my OB during pregnancy, but delivered our baby at 41 + 3 days, totally healthy pregnancy no complications during labour asides a baby that did NOT want out. She is the woman you want in the trenches, she is real as they get and I loved her. She will chirp you, and that’s personally what I needed to make levity of the extreme pain and length of this damn labour, even with the epidural. Nobody I would have preferred standing over me as I push, made sure I didn’t tear as much as I could have, coached the doctor sewing me in an extremely empathetic and professional way, and had our baby out in 20 minutes of pushing after 16 hours of labour (with misoprostol and tons if pitocin - a lot of long hard contractions). So sweet and deadpan funny, thank you for your service boss.

Dr. Thomas not only saved my life but saved my baby's life. She is incredibly honest and one of the most skilled surgeons I know. She may not be warm and fussy (speaking to all the bad reviews) but does it really matter when life is on the line? There is no time for hand holding when seconds make a difference between life and death. She is honest, genuine, blunt, efficient, and incredibly smart. For all of you that want more empathy maybe stay home with your doula and deliver your baby in the bathtub.

Let me start by saying Dr. Thomas is clearly a very skilled ob and is the kind of doctor you'd likely want in an emergency or high-risk situation. That said, if you have a straight forward pregnancy or if you are a first-time mom, you might be better off with someone else. Dr. Thomas has terrible bedside manner. She was condescending to me on multiple occasions, she openly criticized other doctors and health care professionals in front of me, took personal calls during my appointments, criticized me while I was mid-contraction and called me in for an emergency appointment shortly after giving birth only to leave me waiting for 3 hours to see her. Her receptionist, Antonella, was also unprofessional. On more than three occasions she changed my appointment times without confirming with me. Nurse Kathy was the best part of my appointments; she was kind and professional.

I have heard a ton of negativity surrounding Dr. Thomas. However, this is my second pregnancy with her and I have had nothing but a great experience both times. Her staff is wonderful. Dr. Thomas gets straight the to point and is honest and clear with her answers and/or recommendations, in which I appreciate! She’s always been nurturing when I was worried about something and has continued to ease any stresses I’ve had during both pregnancies! I have not had her in the delivery room- but as my OB it’s been a pleasure!

Lack of empathy. Don't ask questions or she gets irate. Complete lack of compassion. Throws staff under the bus. Switch if you can. I would be shocked if the positive reviews were real. Seems to loathe her profession and her patients. Very negative personality.
