I went in to have an IUD replaced and I was pretty nervous. I made the mistake of reading a bunch of info online about getting it replaced and there was so much chatter about the pain so I arrived quite anxious about the whole procedure.
However, I have to say it was so pleasant. He was finished before I even felt any pain so when he said he had removed it and put a new one I was suuuper surprised it was all done.
He even has to reposition it a bit and it was not painful at all. They brought me a tea to recover which was very kind.
For a procedure that is meant to be uncomfortable… I was actually quite comfortable! Thanks so much to Dr. Gerber and staff!
