He has been my family doctor my entire life (22 years), and since I went on my own as an adult for the first time, I have never been back. Always saw a student, haven't actually seen him in years. I just go to a walk-in clinic now for anything. I don't like having to deal with the unprofessional front desk staff, or the wait times on the phone just to be told they can't give me an appointment.

In the five years I only seen student doctors and was never cared for properly. I0was misdiagnosed five times. The worst health care I have ever had. So pleased to be rid of him.

I had Dr smorsarski as a doctor for 7 years. I seen him 2 times. The other visits were students, I was never helped. After the need for 3 operations I one year I switched doctors. My new Dr di
d more for me in one week than Dr smosarski did on 7 yrs. He does not deserve to be a Dr

His staff is just horrible I'm not sure why they were not all fired years ago. He was a extremely good doctor till his daughter died then he just seemed to stop caring and really needs to retire or someone is going to die from his malpractice.

Dr. Smosarski is a great physician. He listens and takes time to address concerns. The staff sadly, are a different story. Extremely rude and lack empathy in any capacity. I truthfully cringe when phoning this office. This seems to be a common complaint in any physician rating from that clinic. Perhaps it is time to reorganize an entire office

I have a real concern with the Victoria health clinic. Despite calling to make an appointment to the doctor, it seems the receptionist is responsible for making calls about my health. I assume the procedure is the receptionist takes my concern and shares it with the doctor, then the doctor decides whether he is able to see me. Too many times I have called and the receptionist automatically says no and directs me to go to the emergency department. However, my health issues don’t always require emergency care. She simply seems to just redirect me. She is not a health professional. What gives her the right to determine if my issue is worthy enough to see the doctor? Dr. Smosarki is a good doctor, but if he is directing his receptionist to screen who gets to see him and who doesn’t, then that is very concerning. If she is doing this on her own, then Dr. Smosarski needs to clarify with her the process. It should be his decision whether I need to be seen, not hers. This is not right. Perhaps my description of the issue doesn’t seem serious enough for her, but she is not a doctor so should not be making that call. Please change this practice. It only leaves us patience feeling even more anxious and concerned than when we felt the need to call in the first place.
