He is of the old school of traditional allopathy medicine and predictably issues prescribes drugs for the vast majority of health conditions, even drugs for what are clearly acid/alkaline imbalances. He was quite good and enthusiastic when he first started his practice but has become satisfied to follow the pack and not stray into alternative medicine. Misdiagnosis of a close family member led to her passing out and being hospitalized. Days before he showed up at the hospital. Educate yourself and seek a GP only when it's your last resort.

I have had Dr. Knight since the start of his practice. My parents were his patients & so are my children. I have never had a problem with him and he is a very caring & knowlegable Dr. I would recommend anyone to him and in fact have recommended him to several people and they all have only good things to say about him.

He should br reported to the college. Someone mentioned below that if he doesn't know something he will take one of his books down and get the answer right then and there...well, those books are 20+ years old. When it comes to diagnoses, I am not sure he knows what that is...unless you have diagnosed yourself. Lazy seems to be the resounding quality here and careless. He won't do anything for you if that means having to work and do some research, even if your life is at stake....such a disappointment. Unless you are elderly and can talk golf...forget it. Should be encouraged to retire or have his licence revoked. Major pill pusher!!!!!

Absolutely the worst. Regardless of your symptoms he'll diagnose your symptoms based on the pill samples he's been given by the pharmaceutical companies. Most of this guy's patients seem to be very elderly, so there are few complaints.

Very lazy and preoccupied as mentioned before. Very quick to boot you out the door with a 5 second diagnosis. Aged, and obsolete, and not very educated on modern symptoms and causes. Most of his patients are elderly, and if you seek real help, with a modern-day sickness, especially regarding the nervous system or drug-related illnesses, he is NOT the Doctor to see. He still won't address my condition and I am now forced to go about an MRI due to his lazyness and misunderstanding.

The best GP that I and my family have been involved with. Knowledgable and compassionate far beyond the norm. Mike was able to make my parents final years the best that they could have hoped for.

He's fantastic. Not only does he usually seem to know everything about anything, if he's not sure he'll take down one of his massive books from his shelf and look it up for you right there and then to make sure he's giving you the best advice possible!

He misdiagnosed me twice! First, Mononucleosis. Great. He thought I had Strep Throat. Wrong. It took a replacement doctor to figure out it. Thank god he was on holidays ! Next, 6 months later, I was stricken with gut pains and diarrhoea. He thought I had an ulcer. I went for a wonderful barium procedure. Still not right. He couldn't be incorrect again could he ? He certainly was. I had contracted Campylobacter. That was a wonderful experience. I had to take a wicked antibiotic for it. Not only that I found out later that it can lead to Guillian Barre Syndrome. I wasn't happy with him. Additionally, he was unsupportive when it came to a work related injury. I changed doctors. I tried to encourage my Dad to switch. Too late. Unfortunately, Dr. Knight didn't order nor suggest a colonoscopy for my Dad. My Dad was stricken with colon cancer that invaded his liver. Dr. K. failed when it came to my Dad. So, if you're seeking a new GP, cross him off your list !
