Dr Dean has been our family doctor since we moved to the area in 2017. I personally love his no bull*** attitude. My daughter was diagnosed with an allergy to penicillin as she had one bad reaction to it when younger, he said that was normal being her first time, sent her for an allergy test and came back negative. My husband has suffered all his life with same allergy and not being able to be prescribed penicillin, he sent him to get tested and came back negative. Yes you have to wait for your appointment, but what doctor's office do you not? Yes he has asked that we stop going to walk-in clinics in a pinch because it costs him money, he's running a business as well, and said just call him and he'll get our kids in to see him next day - he's been true to that word! Unless of course an emergency. He has had valid explanations, diagnoses, and prescriptions for all my family. The one nurse that we see prior to him, Hilary, is also the sweetest kindest person. So great with my kids, listens to my questions that I always add on to the appointment, and gets back to me in a timely manner.

Just like everyone says. He's an arrogant, rude, immature bully who storms out of the room like a spoiled child if you dare to voice your concerns to him. Bullied my son who has severe anxiety. Doesn't give you more than 5 minutes of his time, but is fine wasting 1.5 hours of your time waiting for him. Had to file a report with the College as he REFUSED to do the exam we had booked him for (blood pressure, heart rate, etc.) In the process of looking for a doctor and I know there's going to be a fight because I'm not giving this greedy prick $150 to transfer MY medical files to a real doctor.

Ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious little pip squeak. Needs to be knocked down a few pegs. No I take that back. Needs to be knocked down a couple hundred pegs. No compassion. Money, money, money all he cares about. I have yet to hear one other Dr that has something good to say about him. He is greedy which is how his fellow Drs view him.

He is rude and thinks he’s god almighty if I didn’t Perdue a specialist for my husband I wouldn’t have my husband today He insisted nothing was wrong after seeing specialist he had stage 3 cancer

He is very ignorant towards mental health. He is money grabbing and rushes his appointments. Doesn’t show compassion or empathy. I don’t not recommend this doctor to anyone. The one that does most of his work is his nurse practitioner. (She is wonderful) he is just a paper signer!

In need of some serious counselling before he can be good doctor to his patients. Moods are all over the map. For an educated man he acts childish like someone who does not get his way or if you do not fall into line with what he thinks is right. Have to be human before you can be a doctor.

A terrible, self important, cold doctor. Would rather be treated by my dog's veterinarian for knowledgeable, caring honest treatment than this entitled uncaring person. Steer clear.

Before you consider this Dr you need to know he has no backup for when he is away, after hours or fridays which he is never in, has no nurse practitioners. These are valid for choosing him as your family Dr. Tells you off if you go to walk in clinics and tells you you are committing health care fraud if you do. Also is ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious and plain rude. Fees unaffordable and there is no way he sees patients more than 20 hours a week. They will tell you he is seeing patients till 5:30 on mondays but never does. Laid off 1/2 of the staff. Only works 1/2 on Wednesday’s. One of the only doctors constantly accepting new patients so what does that tell you. Avoid him. You will not be happy with him. Online right now there are other Drs accepting new patients. This one is not there to service his patients. Only the almightly buck.

This was a new doctor for my daughter and myself. We attend the first meet and did paperwork. We both had a appointment booked a few weeks later on a Monday.
My son had major sugery on the Friday before and during the weekend we had run into some issues and had to go back to Mississauga hospital where the Surgeon worked out of. I called before office was even open to cancel and rebook our appointment which was at 11 and 230.
My daughter had to miss her appointment as have a business that needed to have its doors open and with me not in the city doors had to open.
A few weeks go by and I called 3 days in a row to rebook, I finally received the call to say that the doctor will no longer see us and to find new doctor because it’s their policy if you miss a appointment they can dismiss you from care. To say we were shocked was a understatement! My daughter went to the office where the doctor REFUSED to come out and speak with her and basically told her to get out and deal with it. We did call the Ontario board of doctors and have started to file our complaint. We were told that no policy should be in place and this was the most ridiculous most shocking type of practice and were strongly advised to make sure we follow through with the complaint!! Very very disgusted with this sort of childish money hungry kind of doctor!! I will do my best to make sure everyone knows how disposable they are to this man.
