I had a surgery last year for my rotator cuff. It is now fully 100%. Obviously you have to do your physio and training but do feel confident in his hands.

Bar none, the best Orthopedic Surgeon in all of Canada, he fixed my brother in law up who had major shoulder surgery, he fixed another friend of mine up and then I was lucky to get this incredible Surgeon, I had tears of structures among other issues in my shoulder, Dr. Lo is very compassionate and a incredible human being, he is a leader in his industry, the office staff are absolutely excellent as well, if you get him as a Surgeon your life will be greatly improved.

It has been 18 months since Dr. Lo repaired my right shoulder. At the age of 64 I was told to just live with it and do shots for pain. But after three shots the pain was to a point I could not function or sleep. So I paid for my own MRI and Dr. Lo decided it was repairable. I now sleep without pain and have 100% use of my arm and shoulder. I thank Dr. Lo in my prayers every day. He is an incredible surgeon as well as a kind and genuine person. I feel blessed to have been his patient.

I need to say that Dr. Lo is one of a kind in many ways.., once he found out what was wrong with my right shoulder (massive rotator cuff tear) involving the infra and supra tendons he put me on the top of his list for surgery dates even during the Covid outbreak!! He phoned me and made me feel like I was a priority and being a bodybuilder the injury was quite devastating since I also was recovering from a Quad rupture too!
He listened to my concerns and he new exactly where I was coming from and simply put he wanted to help me recover and knowing there is a window of 3 months to have the best results as the tendon can deteriorate if left untreated any longer.
I literally got booked in for my surgery right on the 3 month mark and I was one of the first to get into the operating room once AHS gave him the go ahead.., THANK GOD!
Im 6 months out now and just saw Dr. Lo last week for the second time and was fully discharged and my shoulder is about 80% healed and I have full range of motion and virtually no pain, he told me I was very strong and I already new that as I'm in the gym daily doing my rehab. The only thing he said was slow down and be mindful that it was only 6 months ago that these tendons were repaired and he told me there's a saying in shoulder surgeries and that it heals 10% a month so if I'm only halfway healed then WOW I'm very pleased with the results!!
Dr. Lo is very pleasant and very easy to talk to and will answer any questions or concerns you may have and at the same time he likes to do it with a smile and some humour. I had many surgeries and Doctor's like him are few and far between so if your lucky enough to have him do your shoulder repair don't sweat it your in GREAT HANDS he one of the best shoulder surgeons in North America and I did my research!!

THANKS Dr. Lo,

Mike P

This man is wonderful as a surgeon and a human. He took my husband in and his surgery turned out to be the best thing we have ever done for BOTH of us! Husband now says he has a 16 year old shoulder and a 55 year old shoulder, he is very please with the results. Yes it hurt afterward, yes it was scary, yes he had to take time off work, but it was all worth it! We live in BC so paid out of pocket, best money spent by far and in the end was cheaper than going MSP, we didn't have to wait, so he was back to work at full speed way before he would have been even looked at by another doc. Dr Lo had my husband comfortable in 15 min, afterward he gave us his number that we could call 24/7 and we did use it, to text, send pics of surgery site, and just make sure we were on track. We are 100 percent pleased, hopefully we don't have to do this s again, but if we did we would call Dr Lo! Thanks young man for helping us!! Ken Bennett and Cyndi Hopkins
