Dr. Urban is an amazing doctor. Good listener & always has time for you. I’m sure I wouldn’t be here today if not for him. Very sad to see him retire although well deserved’

Dr. Urban has been my doctor since before I was born. He is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and straight forward. He is very professional and I have been very glad that he has shown great concern for my health and wellbeing as well as my daughter. It has been a great honour to be his patient and I will miss him as my family's physician.

Dr. Urban has been my doctor since he started his practice. As busy as he is, he is committed to his patients and gives you the time needed to discuss the reason for your visit. Knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Diagnosed me with two cancers, that would've otherwise been missed. I trust and respect Dr. Urban very much. I will be truly sad the day he announces his retirement. These will be very hard shoes to fill, as he has set the bar high.

An awesome doctor. As overworked as he often is , Dr. Urban still seems to make time to cover all the important issues. He is kind and caring. I know and trust that he gives his very best medical expertise to his patients.

Today's Doctors are under a lot of pressure which should recognized by patients. Dr. Urban has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He's professional, caring and concerned about his patients. We are very thankful that he chose family practice. Gerry & Ann Kelly

I have had Dr. Urban as my doctor for 25 years! In the past 2-3 years he has changed- cuts me off, rushes my appointment and can be sarcastic! I was quite surprised and disappointed. I am looking for another doctor, but like everyone else, am finding it impossible. Such a shame, maybe he should just retire - like NOW!

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Urban since I was 3, and I’m extremely grateful for him. I’ve never once felt unheard, there have been times that he will disagree and give his full opinion and I believe that makes him a better doctor. I also LOVE that he WONT push any drugs on you at first. He will do whatever he can to make sure that pharmaceuticals aren’t the first answer and that we go about it in the most sufficient way for my needs. It’s his job to provide us with all the information, and sometimes we are too quick to judge, ask a friend, or use google. He has diagnosed MANY illnesses with me since I was a young child, until now being 25. Anytime I have concerns he listens, and he has fought for me numerous times to have the best patient care. He is also fast to ask for second opinions or to push for more testing to ensure health is priority. Recently when I saw him, he was able to pick up on my anxiety and severe depression without even bringing it up. I am so thankful for him, his knowledge and his practice. I can only hope that he doesn’t retire before I have my own child, so that I am lucky enough to have him bring them into this world.

I agree whole heartidly with a previous comment that Dr Urban just isnt what he used to be.
Cuts you off, quick to prescribe and simply doesnt care. I have gone to him about possible PTSD, his response was “well, your family & friends aren’t doctors” and has never followed up with me nor asked me a single question to make his own diagnosis. This being only one issue of many I have experienced with him these past few years. I have tried to find a new doctor for some time with no luck. One time while he was away I had to see another doctor at the office - Dr Fretz, it was the first time I felt a doctor listened to me and cared in a very very long time! At this point, I get better medical advice from the pharmacist.
Retire already!
