Dr. Martin gets a zero when it comes to how he treats his patients. His condescending behaviour and holier than thou attitude that my very elderly mom had to suffer with was completely disgusting. His efforts to try and put completely unfounded fear in to my mom were beyond belief but thankfully my mom was strong enough person not to fall for his nonsense. Someone else else may have very well been left dealing with anxiety attacks after dealing with this man. While he may be a decent doctor and surgeon I would never recommend him to anyone because of his narcissistic personality disorder.

The building is old, dark and very much NOT wheelchair friendly. Don't let the long 'slippery when wet' ramp fool you. There are no electric assist doors to help you get inside. Battery operated hand sanitizers have not worked in months! Toilets are too low to the ground in bathrooms dating from the 1970s. Today we were greeted with heavy metal rock music blaring through the house while waiting for over an hour to see the Doc. Another poster said the office is perpetually overbooked which is spot on. Do your mostly elderly patients need this? We will not be back to see you. In fact we will be reporting today's absolute waste of time to the College and to the Optometrist who referred us to you.

This man needs to retire but I fear he has not yet paid off his yacht. He is rude and dismissive, as is the tech that works with him. He has that old school doctor attitude of one who sees himself as a God. Those days are gone Dr Martin. He is always overbooked and the wait time is atrocious. The office is poorly run. You can rarely get through to a live person and if you do they are disrespectful and totally disorganized. Don’t waste your time , ask to see someone else.

I am 28 years old and my experience with this man was the worst medical experience ever. Thankfully nothing went wrong physically, so I understand it could be much much worse . But this man was extremely condescending, rude and disrespectful. He was very sarcastic and I didn’t appreciate that as a patient. He has a “know it all” attitude which is disgusting as a professional. I asked him several questions to clarify my condition as as a patient who is concerned for my health. He literally said “this is now the 3rd time I am explaining this to you ..” as if I was offending the man for doing his job ? I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed for asking questions about MY own health, which is the opposite feeling a doctor should be eliciting in a patient. Overall my visit with him was uncomfortable and useless. Shame on him, the world will be a better place when he retires.

Had an excellent experience. Didn't have to wait to be seen, was extremely professional, and took the time to explain things for me. His staff was very efficient, special care was taken to clean all surfaces, etc. Would recommend Dr. Martin to anyone looking for a specialist.

Took my dad to see him and he lectured me as to why I took him to Buffalo for a consult.
He was unprofessional, sarcastic and condescending. We switched to Dr Sharda who is amazing
