I found both Dr. Russell and his staff to be friendly, most accommodating and highly professional. Dr. Russell is courteous, straightforward and refreshingly direct. He looked at my x rays, diagnosed my condition, and suggested two surgical options. He told me exactly what he would do, what to expect and a very accurate estimate of recovery time.
He promised me no pain after surgery; I asked if I would end up with a permanent limp,
his response was that would depend on me.
I came prepared with my questions, he answered each to my satisfaction. He is not rude, he is a busy man but respectful. I was not offended when he quickly concluded our consult. After surgery, I saw him about every 5-6 weeks to check on my progress. I was fully recovered in 6 months, with no pain and no visible impairment. Promise kept.
His skill as a surgeon changed my life and I am forever in his debt.
I would recommend this man to anyone requiring orthopedic surgery.

I had an ankle ligament reconstruction done by Dr. Russell and he was great. Had almost no pain after the surgery and was walking in 6 weeks. He is straight to the point, answers your questions when asked, and is very skilled at what he does. His receptionist was also great.

I FOUND HIM TO BE VERY RUDE. RECEPTIONIST NEVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS. ARROGANT AS WELL !!! STAY AWAY FROM HIM.

I had my left ankle fused 1 year ago. From my initial consultation to the monthly follow ups following surgery, Dr. Russell was professional, pleasant and answered any questions I had. I followed his post surgery instructions and within 5 months I walked without pain of any kind, and without a visible limp. I golfed twice a week all summer, and have been walking three miles a day all winter. Excellent surgeon, excellent results.

Dr Iain Russell is the king ! I had my Ankle fussed by this Gentleman and it could not have gone any better , This is a very highly skilled Surgeon and Doctor .

Hi, I've been with Dr Russell for half of his career and rate him the highest possible. I have a very complex case and he has been nothing but professional and gave me the best advice possible. I had my surgery this May 2019 and I'm recovering nicely. I have listened to every word he has said and he has nailed it! I am starting physio soon and hope to run again...

All I can say is that I know my ankle and I know Dr. Russell - he has given me another decade and for that I'm grateful.

As for comments on his Admin - she is clearly THE BEST and has helped me more than anyone I know - she is a complete professional and very AWESOME.

I had surgery May 13/11. Total Achilles and osteotomy of heel. He gave me 50/50 chance of success. I am extremely greatful for this man. I am 95% healthy again.nhe was professional and skilled. Thank you WCB for recommending this man.
