That woman who answers the phone is dreadful, and she has complained about my partners phone manner twice before we could complain about her. He believed her and we are now treated like second class citizens. I would rather try my luck at a walk in than ask her for anything.

His staff is very rude, especially that one woman. My husband thinks she should find a job she likes. The doctor does not listen to you, he drops the ball on referrals , never follows through on anything we talk about, does not even seem to remember things we have discussed in the past. He seems either checked-out due to stress or he simply does not care

Dr. Houghton is a great family doctor, very thorough and kind. His receptionist could use better manners. She needs Dr. Bonny Henry’s advice of be kind, be gentle, be calm as she is none of these.

Receptionist is rude, unfriendly and is unprofessional. Dr. Houghton does not listen, does not remember what was discussed at previous appointments and jumps to conclusions without adequate information, resulting in suffering. He needs to greatly improve his bed side manner and read over the negative feedback left by people on this site. Going to a doctor should not leave you feeling worse than when you went in. I would prefer to got to a walk-in-clinic then deal with this office.

Dr. Houghton's receptionist is rude, ignorant and punitive. She needs to find a job where she doesn't have to deal with people. She is dismissive and uncaring, not best suited for a job that requires diplomacy and empathy.

Dr Houghton is a fantastic doctor, but his new receptionist is extremely unpleasant. She doesn't even try to be polite on the phone. She has a terrible attitude and would be better to seek employment as a prison guard.

Dr Houghton is a very thorough, compassionate practitioner. He's easy to talk to, listens without judgment and is honest. He's an excellent family doctor.

don't waste your time with this doctor
I asked him how long the medication would take to start working and he respond with how long is a piece of string all so asked him to listen to me and he'd said don't tell me to listen you wtf

Front desk staff are easy to deal with and fun - the environment feels safe. We have had to go often lately, and are grateful for the care and attention that he has shown our family. Dr Houghton asks great questions, and we feel like he treats us and advises us as he would his own family, which is all you can hope for in a family Doctor.
