Never looks at your history until after you ask. Very poor bedside manner. Always seems lost and likes to send you for multiple tests one at a time with useless follow up visits in between where he starts from scratch each time and has no clue why you are there.

Professional & knowledgeable and genuinely a caring individual. Tough to be a GP trying to accommodate each individual’s needs. I believe he balances this very nicely.

Dr. Houghton is thorough and careful and reviews your test results and records with you as needed. Reaching his office by telephone is very problematic - they have irregular office hours and there are incorrect online listings of the phone number - including this website.

Dr.Houghton is personable as well as professionally competent. He is kind but direct--he tells it like it is. A great balance of characteristics in a GP. I trust his expertise and would highly recommend him.

Dr Houghton is thorough and so intelligent as a holistic minded professional. I have never felt patronized or rushed. He admits when unsure and listens to my ideas. He does not hesitate to recommend a specialist when needed.

Dreadful front office staff and you will consistently be kept waiting over 45 minutes past your appointment time... they just dont care. Dismisses women and misdiagnoses by jumping to conclusions despite obvious signs and symptoms. Lousy bedside manner.
