Worst clinic ever. Dr. Houghton is very dismissive and cuts you off when you try to talk. Massive ego and defensive. Always late and forgets to send referrals. Never reads notes for what each appointment is for so have to repeat myself each time. Stay away!

Great doctor… very helpful and concerned. Very rude receptionist.. rude in office and on the phone. Barley calls back. And when does sometimes it will take days and days to even speak with anyone.

Cathy the receptionist is FANTASTIC. She is always so bright and cheerful but is also very knowledgeable to be able to help with our concerns. Dr Houghton is our new doctor (our regular doctor transferred.. leaving us without a doctor in a Pandemic) We are in the just getting to know you stage. He is making his own decisions regarding our health and we appreciate that he is not just looking at old records.

Very dismissive doctor, rude receptionist due to the fact she is overwhelmed with tasks. probably both needs sensitivity training with mental health patients

Where is Dr Houghton I havent been able to get through to him for a couple weeks, does not return calls or answer the phone. Dr Houghton has been my doctor for 20 years but because of his attitude change and dismisiveness I am looking for another one.

Dr, Houghton is an excellent Dr. I haven't always been a good patient, he's always been helpful and easy to talk to he takes care of patients that's why he's not always punctual. Remember when reading ratings from 2020 that we were and are in a pandemic and DRs are being slammed with patients and are over worked, especially in Nanaimo where we don't have enough and people have to go without one.

New receptionist woman very rude and dismissive. No care for the patient. You call because its very important but they didnt listen and answering with no manners very rude. Hopefully Dr. Houghton fired her its a bad attitude. We want to change our family doctor because their service is not good especially that woman receptionist. Very races ...

Receptionist is incredibly rude and dismissive. No care or compassion. I know of multiple people leaving his care because of his receptionist. He needs to fire her and all would be well.
