Upon arriving at the facility I was checked in by a very knowledgeable receptionist and then the wait time was minimal before being seen by a technician. After an examination and having my eyes dilated the wait was very short before seeing Dr. Shieh. Dr Shieh was extremely professional and friendly. Overall a very good experience. Thanks to all.

Everything with Dr Shieh and most of the staff was wonderful. The only disturbing interaction was with Karen, the surgery scheduler. She was rude, impatient, and assuming on the phone and then she hung up on me without just cause. I called in the next day and talked to Dr. Shieh directly and he solved the problem. I have high regard for Dr. Shieh's professional expertise along with his ability to deal with difficult situations. A rating!

I have been a patient at North Bay Eye Associates for many years, first with Dr. Ulmer, and since his retirement, Dr. Shieh. Both are excellent doctors, always warm and professional. The support staff is always the best. They are efficient and thorough, keeping waiting time to a minimum. I have complete confidence in them all. I highly recommend NBEA to everyone.

My appointment was January29, 2018, Monday. I arrived on time. I checked in. Then I was called in for the eye exam with a nice lady. Then I went back to the waiting room to wait for the doctor. While I waited, I checked out frames for reading glasses. Completed that phase and then saw the doctor. He did another test and gave me good news and I was off and running. I paid upfront for my ready glasses. Great job by all! Thank you!

I really enjoyed the friendliness of staff and providers. I appreciated the cozy feeling of the offices and waiting room. I did not mind at all to wait in between being seen and tested. Thank you!
