My experience was fabulous. All medical staff were very professional and great to deal with. Dr.Shieh is terrific, my left eye is already seeing great I would recommend them to everyone I know who needs cataract surgery. Can't wait to have my right eye done. Dr. Emil Shieh is an outstanding physician. He is very comprehensive, always shows me on line the results of testing and explains everything comparing to prior years. He explains the changes, if there is significance, or anything that needs attention. He always inquires about my overall health and takes time to make sure I'm doing ok. He is very smart and knowledgeable, always explains everything and makes sure my questions are answered. I appreciate his care and concern for my health and well-being.

My experience with North Bay Eye, Healdsburg has been consistently excellent. I love Dr. Shieh - he is friendly, kind, courteous and most professional. He measures me about my eyes, which is very comforting. The people in the scheduling office are wonderful and most helpful.

This was a followup visit to a problem encountered a week earlier with my right eye. The appointment started on time. Dr. Shieh checked my eye, inquired if the eye felt OK and if I was seeing any "floaters". We discussed the health of my eye and the possible causes of the abrasion of the cornea. The use of a lubricant to be placed in my eye before going to sleep as well as the use of a lubricating solution for use during the day which should eliminate any further abrasion until the cornea is healed.

It was my first time in your office and I picked your name from my insurance company's provider list - so clearly had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to be met with such a friendly office staff. It was a short wait time, everyone seemed very professional and competent.
