Awful. Do not see this doctor. Didn't even make eye contact and did not ask for consent before without any explanation touching/treating me. Spent 30sec with me

Awful. Stick to being a fry cook or something where you don't have to interact with the public.

I have the worst case of flu that I have ever experienced...to the point I forced myself to go to the clinic. I could hardly stand up, had no voice and felt like razors in my throat. She hardly looked at me. Asked nothing about fever, no throat swab...said my ears were congested and to go home and drink lots of fluids. I could only whisper that I can hardly swallow saliva...her response was “take a Tylenol, there’s nothing to do for you” and she walked out! Totally rude and incompetent! Do not go to this clinic if she is working!!!

Park & Tilford Medical Clinic. Front desk staff is friendly so I give them 5 stars. However, Dr. Martin did not make eye contact with me, borders on being outright rude, and barely assessed my 12 year old daughter’s sprained ankle. She literally spent 30 seconds with us. I’m appalled that this doctor is still in business. She is a disgrace to our medical system. We got a second opinion the same day at Pemberton Clinic from a doc who did a thorough assessment and sent my daughter for an xray to confirm there wasn’t a fracture (there wasn’t). Shame on you, Dr. Martin.

The most dismissive dr I have ever seen. Wouldn't make eye contact, spent less than 10 seconds with me.

My husband felt very ill and saw Dr. Martin on Saturday. She told him that this is just a virus and to wait for 10 days and then check with his family doctor. The following day, my husband was already admitted to the ICU. This doctor did not check him properly, did not check his vital signs or fever. Stay away from her.

I have suffered the misfortune of seeing Dr. Martin at a North Van medical clinic twice. The first time I came in with a lot of pain around and under my left rib cage. I had a cold/cough at the time so thought I may have an enlarged spleen or pulled a muscle. She didn’t even take the time to examine me, despite the fact that I’m immunocompromised and have a very complex chronic illness.

The second time (I should have turned back) I came in with a suspected UTI as well as impaired hearing in my ear from a blockage. I have been in this clinic for both of these problems before and had no issues. Not only did this doctor not offer to do a urine culture, she also refused to dislodge the impacted ear wax out of my ear because it was too impacted....I’ve never had this issue with a doctor before.

Furthermore, she had very poor bedside manner, did not listen to what I had to say and brushed me off within 5 mins of entering the examining room. Next time if she’s working at this clinic, I’ll be turning around and going elsewhere.

I have had the misfortune of seeing Dr Martin a few times in my life - once or twice while she was covering for my regular GP at Parkgate and again today at Park and Tilford Medical Clinic. When I walked in the clinic and saw her name posted I almost left without assessment based purely on my previous experience with her. I thought I’d give her another chance however I was wrong to do so - I see nothing has changed. She was rude, argumentative and with little to no knowledge of my health situation (would not even listen to previous, recurring symptoms for the same issue I was in the clinic for) she promptly dismissed me. She is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen with an absolutely deplorable ability to communicate to other humans. She is obviously a very unhappy person and in my opinion should not be working in a role that requires empathy, ability to listen and communicate to others. I would not trust her judgement or her diagnosis. If you go to the clinic and see her name, I suggest you turn around and promptly go to another clinic.

Horrible experience at the Park & Tilford Medical Clinic. Was very dismissive, rude, and did not believe what I was saying.
