I travel 2 hours to see Dr. Caplan in person. I first saw her in 2016 and she helped me when no other doctor I had seen could. She completed thorough blood work, listened to my medical history and explained her observations to me very clearly. I will be forever grateful that I saw her because the information I have about how my body works is invaluable. I saw a complete turn around in my health by following her dietary recommendations and taking the medications and supplements she prescribed. I know some people have described negative experiences receiving treatment at Vitality MD (you can’t make everyone happy) but if you are looking for an extremely smart doctor who merges traditional medicine with wellness then look no further than Dr. Caplan. AND ….. if by chance, she isn’t your cup of tea, don’t trash her online and potentially influence others to bypass the chance to achieve positive benefits from her treatment.

This doctor is a quack. She didn’t make a professional impression at all. The moment she said that my gut is being damaged by WiFi, I knew that I wasted $750. This is how much she charges upfront without any guarantee. For a medical specialist, who claims that she understands female hormones, she’s terribly behind times on basics of women’s health. My middle-aged male PCP understands them better. She also tried to sell me silver pills and vaginal plasma injections.

Her administrative staff are just as bad. The clinic manager outright lied in the intake interview when I asked if the doctor sticks to Western, evidence-based medicine, as opposed to unscientific woo like detoxes. They never answer the phone, forget to send forms they want you to fill out, and sometimes don’t reply to emails for a week.

When I arrived, the clinic was empty and I still had to wait to be seen by the doctor. I’m not sure this doctor has many repeat patients. The clinic makes an impression of a place that exists to make money from first-time clients. It’s really quite sad.

I had an appointment 10am, they called at 11:15am. The young lady who called me would not stop talking, I couldn’t get a word in. After talking they requested an upfront payment before booking me an appointment, that’s a big red flag for me. After finally setting up the appointment, 15mins later I get a call to again ask for an upfront payment. I have never been inside this place of business. With all the fraud going on in the world today, this one sounds like a scam to me. Disappointing that the medical professionals have come to this way of doing business. Dr. Shari Caplan, you should be ashamed of this business practice. You are clearly in it for the money and not the wellbeing of your patients.

Dr. Caplan used to be an excellent medical doctor, unfortunately she is purely interested in the financial aspect of practise, and does not care about her patients. Been with her 10 years, finally left because she pays no attention to your medical issues, she just wants to sell creams, useless IV therapy, and hey how bout some vaginal rejuvination.... Seriously?? I was worried about my blood pressure not my vagina....Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Dr Caplan's care has made a significant difference to my well being and I am now feeling better than I have in years. She listens, reflects and creates a health focused plan that I understand and can follow. I leave appointments feeling heard and empowered to understand my body. She and her staff are helpful and professional. I am grateful I found her.

Dr. Caplan is smart, straight forward, honest, and amazing to deal with. She is helping me and my daughter and things are going great. We are getting the results we aimed for at a terrific pace. Everything she has told me is exactly what is happening. I love her professionally!!!
Any bad comments here are probably jealous people in business that want you to stay away from her. Just go into VitalityMD and you will know you are welcome immediately. The place is drop dead gorgeous! And all the staff are so nice. This is the hidden Diamond in Toronto! Well, I’ll expose it!!! Just go in the front door, you’ll see what I mean!!

Been my Doctor for 19 years. Bioidenticals, weight loss, nutrition .... all takes time and I am happy to pay the fee for the time Dr. Caplan takes and what I feel is genuine concern. I don't want someone who is just a pill pusher. I want someone who is about health, holistically. Very smart Doctor.
