My husband and I have been trying to start a family for 5 years . I came to Dr.Hannam as second opinion from MSH. I was already very educated in my case and the IVF terminology which made me harder to impress since . His honesty and no sugar coating anything is one thing I appreciates the most ! He didn’t give me false hopes but instead gave me solutions to my very difficult case . Never made me feel different or special , took his time to explain everything. The nurses are phenomenal! Tonia my personal case nurse got back to me same day always with an answer to my questions/ concerns . The u/s tech Daniel amazing always made me feel comfortable. And the Philippina nurses that took my blood every single morning ! Absolutely amazing ! Don’t waste your anywhere else ! Currently 3.5 pregnant !

The best fertility specialist in Canada. He is current and deeply knowledgeable in all the most advanced practices and technologies that show promise in this challenging field. He is a sensitive and compassionate practitioner easy to connect with, and his technique is flawless. He is a perfectionist and will take the time to ensure that your drug dosages, the transfer process and everything in between is at a place where it can't possibly be improved upon. If he can't help you, it can't be done.

I emailed the clinic a week ago to set up an appointment after a failed cycle elsewhere. After a few days when I did not hear back, I called the clinic and left my details. Still no call back. That's too bad, especially considering that I am grieving and really wanting to focus on next steps. An email or phone call after a week of an inquiry should have come my way. If this is a reflection of their response time when I am a patient I might have to go elsewhere. Too bad, because now I have a poor opinion of Dr Hannam and I have not even met him.

After several failed IVF cycles with a different downtown Toronto clinic (MSH), we were referred to Hannam Fertility Clinic for a second opinion and a change in strategy. He reviewed my 50+ page file and thoughtfully put together a plan and gave honest feedback. His clinic was organized and had features to maximize efficiency and capacity to handle busy mornings with many patients requiring cycle monitoring labs/ultrasounds ( iPad sign-in, email points-of-contact with personal nurses for questions, enough lab techs and space to do blood draws, and an open space with enough room). He understood and respects that cycle monitoring and the IVF process is disruptive, emotional and time consuming --- and has organized his clinic so that things run as smoothly and efficiently as possible - something I was grateful for when arriving at 7:15 am for days on end before work to do lab work and ultrasounds. I may have had to wait on one or two occasions from some minor mishap, but overall, he designed this clinic to minimize the inevitable hiccups that occur in healthcare. He telephoned personally with certain results, but even if he was not available, I found having a nurse to email 24h a day incredibly helpful. Kimi was personal and incredibly dedicated. Moreover, Dr. Hannam took the time to speak with and connect with my husband which he really appreciated. His thoughtful and thorough approach worked wonders and I now have twins. I will forever be grateful to this physician and the incredible clinic that he has built.

After 13 years I got pregnant. I really thanks for Dr. Hannam. He is one the best Dr I have ever been in my life. Still I can not believe I am pregnant.

Dr. Hannam was the worst doctor I have ever seen. He and his staff do not answer my questions or return phone calls. Expect long waits and no consideration for your wants or concerns. Fertility clinics are supposed to be empowering - this clinic is the opposite.

Dr. Hannam has been a lifesaver for me and my family. We thought we would never be able to get pregnant. He is super creative in his approach and willing to try new things. His bedside manner is exceptional. He genuinely cares about his patients and spends time with each individual - even if I didn't see him on most visits to the clinic, I knew he was watching my charts closely and making changes personalized to me (not like other Dr's who sometimes seem to put everyone on the same protocol like a factory farm). I cannot recommend Dr. Hannam enough. If you are having problems getting pregnant, get yourself an appointment with him ASAP.

Cons: the clinic can be a bit crazy at times, the nurses are very nice but sometimes overwhelmed and miss small details, but honestly it's going to be like that at any clinic you go to so don't let it get to you. Just pay attention and advocate for yourself, speak up if something doesn't sound right. Don't let the small clinical mishaps deter you from seeking treatment with Hannam.

I heard so many good things from my friends/colleagues about Dr Hannam back in the old days. As such, I saw Dr Hannam for about a year with high expectations. Eventually I decided to leave the clinic with mixed feelings. (+) Dr Hannam is very passionate about the subject and is indeed very knowledgeable; I was told Dr Hannam's clinic might have one of the best IVF technologies in Toronto; It's painful to wait in the morning for cycle monitoring, but the result chart is very clean and easy to read. (-) The clinic offers cookie cutter solutions for everyone. In my IUI cycle, the clinic missed my peak LH day due to poor monitoring. Still, it went ahead with the usual protocol. My money was wasted. In another cycle, I was actually pregnant with a very low hcg level, but his staff did not notify me. I did not know this until about 6 months later at a different clinic. When I tried to initiate an appointment with Dr. Hannam, I was told only doctors could initiate appointments with patients, not the other way around. I feel bad to write these things out because I respect Dr Hannam so much, but it hurts me to think of how the current business model is turning this place into a factory which lost its identity. I really wish Dr Hannam could read this and improve the situation. I also hope more women could start their families with Dr Hannam's help.

Dr. Hannam is amazing! I went to 2 other clinics before moving to HFC and the difference was like night and day. Dr. Hannam personalized my treatment plan to suit our specific issues and all of the staff were very knowlegable. What I appreciated the most about Dr. Hannam was his compassion for his patients. I spoke to him personally a few times throughout our journey and he took the time to explain and answer questions. He is probably the best doctor I have ever encountered and I recommend him and his clinic wholeheartedly.
