Was referred to Dr. Walters by my Internist Dr. Chichak; who explained to Dr. Walters that I am relearning how to walk after fracturing the femur on my amputated leg; and would require admission the day before procedure for preparation to be done at the hospital. Dr. Walters had performed a Colonoscopy five years prior and had advised me that I would require another 5 years later; I was told by Dr. Walters I was fat, that my Type 2 Diabetes was a lifestyle choice and he treated me badly because of this. My A1Cs have been under 6.0 for years, being unable to walk full time due to a break on an amputated leg and having back issues (all hereditary diseases); no Doctor should be allowed to talk to any patients in this manner.

I wish I could give the entire staff a 0. Terrible experience. Rude, disrespectful and the list goes on. The receptionist refuses to answer or return calls. The clinic nurse Jan is the rudest healthcare worker I have ever dealt with. Coming from a patient in severe pain, you would think they would not treat their patients like trash or at least return phone calls at the least. The doctor does not listen to you, if you’re even lucky enough to get an appointment. I would tell everyone to avoid this clinic at all costs, as it is not worth the stress and lack of help/information you get.

I wish I could give a 0. Never return phone calls, rude, and disrespectful. The nurse jan is a nightmare. Brennan walters always appears to be in a rush to get you out of the office. That is, if you are even able to make an appointment. You’ll be lucky to get one within a one year period.

He has been my doctor for ten plus years , I was in for a scope yesterday Jan 18 2022 , I could not believe I was treated by him , I was in the treatment room ready to be put under and he decides to go to a meeting instead , then he comes in does n't even refer to my chart , asking why I'm there and what my issues were , did not even look at my chart or realize that I was his patient . Even the nurses and the other doctor was annoyed and put off by him ,. I will be looking for a new Doctor asap , never want to have to deal with him again

The receptionist is incompetent. Basic functions such as answering a phone, returning messages, updating addresses, informing patient of appointments seem to be quite a challenge for her. I have been with Dr. Walters for years and yet have had any of these occur. Dr walters is brief, to the point, doesn't explain much but seems to know what he is doing, unlike his nurse/receptionist.

Dr Walters and his staff at the clinic are amazing. The clinic Nurse Jan is extremely helpful. I am forever grateful for their care.

If you are someone who is looking for a GI doctor, PLEASE steer clear of Dr. Walters. He will give you an appointment 6 MONTHS LATER. He is simply in it for the money, I am not sure why he has opened his own clinic. He is never in office, so it is impossible to get an appointment. WHEN you do get an appointment (after months) he seems very rushed to leave and end the appointment very quickly. He gets irritated when you ask him any questions, and does not provide you with any information that could help you. Don't even get me started on the nurse in the clinic- Jan.I could write pages on what a terrible experience I had with her. She is rude, disrespectful and will proceed to YELL at you if you ask her questions about your medications, blood/stool tests, etc.
Overall, this is a terrible TERRIBLE place to go if you have GI issues, which is already stressful as it is. Not only will they not help you, but will disrespect you.

I really like Dr. Walters and trust his opinions
I have never had a problem over the few times I have seen him.

Dr. Walters has no bed side manner at all. He speaks to you in a very condescending way, like he's perfect! But I think he thinks he is. This was my 3rd visit to to him and I will not see him again. I will have my GP refer me to someone else.
