I have been a patient of Dr. Stephanie Mason for almost 9 years. She is a kind, caring, compassionate and an extremely intelligent doctor. She has always returned my phone calls and has always told me never to hesitate to call her with any questions or concerns. She is very genuine in her approach. She always listens to what you have to say and remains non-judgemental. Stephanie goes out of her way to ensure her patients are well cared for. I became medically unstable at one point, she sent me to the emergency room. She then spoke to the physician in ER prior to me arriving. She also asked me to call her on her cell phone to let her know the results of my ER visit. I don't know any other doctors who would do this. She is thorough in her assessments and orders the appropriate tests. She creates a pleasant and warm environment where you don't feel rushed. She has helped me out alot over the 9 years which I have known her. I would highly recommend Dr. Mason to anyone.

Since she has joined the for-profit private clinic, her service has deteriorated. I had a crisis recently and needed assessment urgently. She did not return my call.

She goes out of her way to help no matter how overloaded she is she will come through in a crisis. And she never patronizes her patients. She meets people at their level and she presents like a normal person, which is not unprofessional but an asset. She seems human and fallible and vulnerable just like the rest of us. I've known her for more than 15 years now. I hope I'll know her for another 15 regardless of whether that is professionally or as a patient.

I have been under Dr. Mason's care for over twelve years. When I went in to see her I was significantly clinically depressed. She gave me my life back. I could not find a high enough rating for her. If the highest rating is five I would rate her as a ten.

I believe there are certain people that you should refer to a professional. Dr. Stephanie Mason is this person. First of all, she is a person not just doing it for the money since in my opinion - she is not doing it for the money. Stephanie has helped me go through some real hard times including suicide prevention and a total change of medication due to other circumstances. Dr. Mason is the best person in the office and in the community if you would meet her she is the same person. If I had to rate her out of all of the people that I have met in the profession and I have met probably over 100 - she is the best. Good on Stephanie.

This Dr. is a person I feel I could tell anything to with no sense of shame, she radiates acceptance and care. We truly have a 'therapeutic alliance'and although my illnesses are chronic I can say she has kept me alive when there were many times I wanted to kill myself. When I thought University was over due to my 'getting' mentally ill, she coached me through a degree and now I'm trying college and she has been extremely helpful dealing with disability advisors filling out forms, making the calls etc to get me set up.I was medically discharged from the Canadian Forces Reserves and now have to deal with Veterans Affairs and whether its mega-paperwork, counselling or just empathy that is required I know she is in my corner fighting for me. She makes the time to see me when I need it and I can see her long enough to really address some issues, she deserves some sort of recognition for what she brings to what could be 'a job' for some. I would trust her with my life. She gives her best..

A gem and rare find in todays medical environment. She truly caring, very accurate in her assessments, and easy to chat with. She is not quick with a prescription which I respect. I hope she does not do as so many good doctors and retire early. If you can get a appointment you will receive excellent care and be very lucky.
