Maggiore was most unprofessional and is an embarrassment to Wilmington Health Associates. I was not in the room 5 minutes and he started making obnoxious remarks (before examining me, he blatantly made allegations of drug/alcohol use. I looked awful, because I felt awful). I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and a strict vegetarian. He also asked me how long I have been on assistance and food stamps. My husband is an attorney, and I am an educated, employed-working professional. He was more concerned with had I been to college (I have 3 college degrees) and my family financial and educational background, than he was with why I was there (referred to him by another doctor). This idiot spent over 15 minutes going over my body with a large magnifying glass. I asked him what he was looking for. He claimed he is never wrong and was looking for where I was injecting my drugs. I humored this ridiculous, incompetent jerk and let him look. I asked him if he found what he was looking for. He said I am unable to locate your needle marks. Well Sherlock, there is a reason for this. There were no needle marks. There were no drugs or alcohol usage. I went to another doctor who immediately scheduled me for surgery. The question at back you Maggiore-are you doing drugs? How many other people have you treated so rudely and unprofessionally? He went to a second rate medical school and has a third rate personality.

I second what a previous rater said. This man brought me back from death's door saved my life. He is extremely thorough and dedicated to his work. True, he does NOT hold your hand. He tells it like it is and that is part of the reason why he deserves all 5's. He is very effective and you can feel confident in his care.

Dr. Maggiore is a wonderful doctor. I nearly died from fungal meningitis and he most certainly saved my life. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. I now see him for my HIV. His nurse Christy is very helpful and easy to get in touch with. All of the staff have been friendly. I have been there with private insurance and now with Medicaid. If you want a Doctor to hold your hand and tell you what you want to hear than Dr. Maggiore is not for you. He will tell you the truth. He is very thorough and an excellent doctor.

No help. Cannot solve problems. Looks down and never looks at you. Staff is the same way. No social presence
