This was my experience when I saw Dr. Skie, which was over 10 years ago, so I do not know if there has been a miraculous turn around in his medical practice/methods, but every bad comment mentioned is VERY similar to my experience too.

#01. Long Wait Times: My appointments were typically around 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm and I wouldn't leave their office until around 12:00 am, (so ;

#02. Over Prescribing: This is what he prescribed as my "Daily Medications and MG Total:" 40 mg - Oxycontin x 03 tablets daily, (120 mg - Oxycontin), and 15 mg - Oxycodone x 08 tablets daily, (120 mg - Oxycodone). Luckily, I NEVER took what was prescribed so when I changed doctors I didn't have withdraws or anything;

#03. Unprofessionalism: During a trigger point injection my wife, who was directly facing Dr. Skie, stated he fell asleep IN THE MIDDLE of the injection procedure. So, needless to say having a needle in your back and the doctor falling asleep was the "straw that broke the camels back" and THAT was my last appointment with this "doctor" which led to my wife reporting the incident to the Medical Board.

Luckily, I now have a great/compassionate pain management doctor and PA who I have been seeing for the past 10+ years approximately and have successfully managed my "medication intake" to avoid having to request dosage increases.

I was a patient of Dr Skie from 2006-2017. Nearly all of the negative reviews jibe with my experience--over-prescribing, bizarre office hours, brilliant mind, etc. I left his practice/pill mill addicted to Methadone and Vicodin in a dangerously serious way --we never had a down-the-road strategy for getting off the copious amounts of drugs prescribed. It took me 6 months to "dry" out. Patients, please beware! As for the office staff, in 11 years I witnessed all kinds of bizarre behaviors and actions which I questioned many times. I was always told, in no uncertain terms, that his "quirkiness" is his strength and that if I didn't like it, I could go elsewhere. Live and learn, hopefully.

My experience with doctor skie had always been fantastic and he keeps me smiling by helping me as his patient to correct what's need to be corrected with my health. He listen and is so spontaneous as a doctor by making me smile once he got my health on track I stop having seizures much cholesterol level was doing good and first four Mall

Dr.skie is a drug dealer! I had to have surgery on my left arm because he didn’t know I was there for my shoulder? My left arm is gone. I have 20% of use of my arm now. Because he put me in his massage chair to make money 220 dollars just to hurt me soo bad. Why ? Something bad wrong with him ? Oooh lord I wish I would have never went there! WOW He made me 60 % more disabled! Don’t go to this doctor! He must be on drugs? My arm is deformed, And he didn’t care about me Only money! May he never have a chance to see anymore patients Ever !!!!!!! Tears and tons of them for my Arm!!!!

Horrible staff; Dr. does not care how long you have to wait to see him; he doesn’t care if you, especially if the patient is a woman, how far you have to drive, even if you are on pain meds; what time of the day it is that you leave his office. There were many tines that I would be leaving his office at 4:00 to 5:00 am, already having been there for 4-5 hours.

This doctor was giving me 260 mg of oxycodone a day last month I went to see him and evidently the medical board is all over him and he prescribed me Subutex to save his own butt he did this to 370 patients

Dr. Skie is by far the best doctor I have ever known. In just a year he has turned my life around and I’m so much happier. He found very early diabetes and high cholesterol. I can’t believe some of the bad reviews he has had. I don’t know where they got their info, but they couldn’t be more wrong. Dr. Skie takes the time to explain exactly what I’m being treated for. Unlike most doctors that value you based on your insurance and send you out the door as fast as they can to bill the next guy. He even started giving me my needed T shots for about the $forth of what my previous doctor charged me. Yes he works nights. I also work nights so he’s perfect for me. I suggest people that have a problem with that should find a doctor that works days.

This is by far the strangest doctors office I have ever been to. You will wait at least 3-4 hours and then be talked down to. Pretty obvious that 95% of the patients are here to get narcotics. I've heard people talking about selling pain meds in the parking lot. This guy is the absolute definition of a quack doctor.. extremely disrespectful of people's time. But! Hey! If you're looking to get some dope and are willing to see a doctor at 4am....hes the guy!
