I quite like Dr. Green-Star. She seems very pleasant and professional to me. I like that she brings in her laptop to each appointment to access all files and take notes. I can see how this may bother some people because it would seem distant but I appreciate the tool. She has always been great with ordering tests, and being thorough in the testing. I on the other hand am not good at getting the testing done, which goes unnoticed and I cannot and would not blame her or her staff for that. I like that I can email for appointments and keep in contact with reception at anytime. I never have to wait more than a couple minutes to been seen to a room and then a couple more minutes before the doctor arrives. My last doctor of many many years, it was always a 2 hour affair so I appreciate the punctuality. It was hard to switch doctors because of new location but I am very happy with Dr. Green-Star and the transition was smooth.

seems very uncomfortable with having to physically touch you. I get the feeling that doing a pap smear grosses her out.Bathroom is really icky, I once actually cleaned the toilet myself before using it!!!

Iris Green-Starr is an approachable and knowledgeable doctor. She has helped me over the last three or more years and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is caring and friendly when discussing a health conern.

Dr. Green-Starr makes me feel that I am burden to her day each time I visit her. I feel that she overbooks her patients so she does not have adequate time to truly counsel her patients. I feel that she doesn't truly care about my medical care. She recently diagnosed me with something after many year,s and for that I am appreciative. It is something that she is very unfamiliar with, and when a conference was recently in town, I asked her if she would attend the conference (on a weekend for a couple of hours), and she said in a completely critical and condescending manner, "Come on, I have patients". What kind of message does that send to your patients?

She does not support a preventive approach to health care but is good for emergency care.

After waiting for an hour to see her, I had to go to an open clinic. I am a healthy woman wanting a work physical done, and she wanted me to go for all these tests just because! I was going to be tested for cancer, liver disease, diabetes, ect. when there is no family history or any syptoms! All work wanted to kow was if I could lift over 50lbs and would die on the job. All I can say is I would never in a million years go back to that heartless cow!

I went to see Dr GS a few times as she was closer to where I live that my other family Dr. After a few visits I chose to go back to my other Dr. that is a bus ride away. she is lacking compation and I wanted accupunture but she choose to write a prescription instead.. I also had to ask her to give me medical testing that she did not even think of having me take to find out what could be wrong with me. It makes me feel that we should be able to go into the labs with out having to waist our time and money to see such a Dr.

Had an urgent problem but unable to get through the phone line to make an appointment. To boot, when I did get through, all I got was: "This answering machine does not take messages, try again later." Talk about frustrating. I think that her "lifestyle changes" and "acupuncture" business has become a conflict of interest for regular patients who can't seem to get "fit in" when needed. Also, can't ask more than one question regarding medical problems, as that would be considered a separate problem, to be dealt with at another appointment, hence, the Care Card dinged yet again. Seems it's all about money, not about patient health.

She was rude would not answer important questions unless I booked an extra visit, I had to follow her in order to get her to answer me.Receptionists keeps calling, you would think she was on comission. Would sooner go to a vet.
