Dr. Marais is a very good doctor. He is very knowledgeable and helpful! He has been my doctor for the past 18 years and I have been very happy with him. He was a wonderful maternity doctor and I highly recommend him.

Speechless!! The fence post type. He gives injections in his hallways for years. Doesn’t send people to specialists appropriately. Looks for bandaids instead of fixing the real issue. Overall. Bad rating. Don’t waste your time on this looser. His secretary is a rude sort too.

Dr Marais delivered both of my children. He was a really great doctor back then, I just think he is too busy now. It can take up to three weeks to book an appointment and then often you will wait hours past your scheduled time. Fine if you have the time but when you take time off work to go to an appointment, it should be relatively on time. Our time is just as important. Staff can be bristled at times and can get easily irritated with patients, especially if you ask “how much longer”. Lol.

Very good doctor, been with him over 20 years. Not adverse to ordering tests to get to the root of an issue.

Dr. Marais was a maternity referral from my Family Doctor. This is my second pregnancy, and I am impressed with his care compared to the last OB.
I'm reading about his receptionist being rude, but if it's who I think it is, she is really sweet, and I believe that is also his wife. She is old school European, and growing up around that, I know it's just an exterior!
I'm sad that my time with them is ending soon, and would be lucky to have him as a baby doctor in the future.
