Worst MOA ever! Made me feel like I was more of a burden than a patient! Get out of the profession If you are so miserable and maybe learn to smile!

The MOA is obtuse and obstructive and behaves as if she were the Customer and the patient is a nuisance!

Dr James is good. But unfortunately, if your a long time cancer patient and your not made aware that he is going away. You are out of luck and talked rudely to by the girl that answers the phone. I was told to go to emergency and waste those valuable doctor's time. Very poor and degrading customer service!

Best doctor I have ever been to! I went in as a walk in and he was super professional and caring. He diagnosed me within 5 mins and no other doctor has ever mentioned my condition. I tried to get him as a doctor but heard he retired. I hope his family live up to his expertise! The staff however at Yates medical Center are the most miserable, unfriendly moa's I've come across. They need some serious training on how to treat their customers!!!

The very BEST!!! I miss not seeing him for my regular appointments. His daughter, Shannon, is proving to be as good as her dad!! The caring and support from James for everything was top notch. He always went above & beyond!
Enjoy retirement James!! You earned it. :)

I have been a patient of Dr. James Houston for nearly 20 years. He was recommended to me as a family GP by Dr. Abram Hoffer. He has helped me tremendously through the years with his expertise in solving health problems that I have. He is a caring person that really knows how to help people without the use of unnecessary drugs. Thank you Dr. Houston, enjoy your retirement. I was lucky to have James as My GP from birth until recently (31 years) there is not one bad thing I can say about him. When my Dad died suddenly he went above and beyond to support my family. He has treated my entire family and has such a caring and realistic approach. He doesn't push pills and encourages natural holistic approaches instead of writing a prescription. He is about solving the problem and not masking it with meds. He provide excellent female care and I am pleased that his son (my new family GP) harbors the same approach. How many doctors do you know that will still make house calls if needed?

Dr. Houston has been our family doctor for about 20 years. He was particularly good to my wife who died in 2009 and visited her at home in her last few months. He has a very engaging personality and is a good communicator. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor.
