I found Dr Champagne to be a ray of sunshine. He has a wonderful bedside manner and was very efficient during my husband’s visits to the NYGH ER. He was patient in answering questions related to the medical issue. And I love his hot pink stethoscope! Reflects his s nature.

Dr. Champagne is a very good doctor. I was in the ER due to a muscle being pulled, he noticed something else and immediately got the process started for me to get the medical help I need started. I honestly can't thank him enough. It's actually life saving.

This doctor is a gem. Took my mom into NYGH Emergency after she fell at home. He was very kind to her, listened to her, did the appropriate tests and arranged a referral for her. I have never seen an emergency doctor who was this kind and compassionate. Anyone is lucky if you have this doctor treat you. Thank you Dr. Champagne.

Wow. Amazed. Disgusted. As a young woman I should not feel intimidated. AS A PATIENT I SHOULD NOT BE TOLD “I busted my hump for you today” when he did nothing for me in fact besides try to make me feel bad? Now I find out my “referral” he gave me - I was told I’m “rejected”- the exact word used. He was not impressed with me and was very personal and I have 100% belief he is the reason MY FURTHER HELP AND REFERRAL is “rejected”. If I’m wrong so be it. The mistreatment is even worse than me having a wrong idea as such. Terrifying that I have to turn to such “professionals”…

Dr. Champagne was at the very least unprofessional, hero/ God complex, and an instigator- as he tried to chase/ follow me out of the ER calling my name, to try and confront me about something not true OR (if what was suspected was true) THIS WAS NOT OKAY- made a very YOUNG WOMAN UNCOMFORTABLE. I feel like I hit the jackpot getting Dr Champagne in the ER. He took all my symptoms seriously, quickly got my tests run and gave me a diagnosis that hit all my symptoms. He was warm, efficient and took the time to address my questions. I feel so lucky to have gotten him.

I was treated by Dr. Champagne in the emergency in July after being taken to the hospital by ambulance suffering from severe pain from a kidney stone. Having just recently lost my husband exactly 6 weeks before, this amazing, incredible, and compassionate Doctor took the time to diagnose and treat my problem while at the same time talked and comforted me throughout my ER visit. What an outstanding human being!

I have never met a kinder, funnier and more knowledgeable doc in my life. He’s unreal. He cares so much about his patients, he’s very professional and he’s the coolest guy!
