I've seen Dr Brad Stewart for quite a few years now since unfortunate circumstances brought me to him from head injuries. Thanks to his expertise and talented staff, I've been able to get through my treatments very well. And with the joined community of doctors making sure everything works out excellent, Dr Brad Stewart and staff is very trustworthy. Thanks for always being there for me and my family.

I saw this Doctor some time ago and after reading some other reviews I felt compelled to recount my experience which was horrible. He is rude, condescending and arrogant and that would be putting it lightly. I saw him 2 or 3 times for initially some neurological symptoms dealing with foot drop on one side. He did send me for a couple tests that came back negative but he put me on some meds for fibromyalgia and or a wide spread pain type of syndrome and recommend antidepressants. My family doctor at the time was much better as now they were both going in the direction of antidepressants, Ativan and a gambit if other meds. This went on for over 6 months and now I was having lots of other symptoms, light headed, racing heart, passing out, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, swelling, random limb and facial numbness. I demanded another appointment and it was at the 3rd appointment he was literally yelling at me after I told him about my newer symptoms and he was physically forcing me with his hands to bend over touch the floor and grabbing my arms up in the air and then he ordered me up on the exam table and grabbed my legs one by one pulling them up quickly and forcefully. Then he was saying see your fine it’s all in your head. I told him that it felt like something was wrong with my heart. He laughed in an weird angry way. He said you have the worst case of anxiety and panic attacks that I have ever seen. He left the room for a while then came back in and told me I should immediately contact the out patient psychiatry department and gave me a referral. I was distraught and left his office broken I had to call my husband to come get me. I did immediately get into some type of psychiatric day program and it was there on the first day during intake that the nurse took one look at me and asked if I had any heart conditions she said your face is greyish and puffy I said no they keep telling me for the past year that I’m pretty much crazy. She had the doctor at that clinic send me to emergency for a simple chest X-ray and to return with the films so he could look at them. Well needless to say upon my return which I practically had to crawl back because I was so short of breath that doctor said you my dear are in congestive heart failure and that my heart was twice the normal size. I was immediately seen by a cardiologist who immediately did surgery and the rest is history. I feel like a million bucks now apparently I had a congenital heart defect that I was born with and it took 40 years for it to reach its limit. When I complained to Dr. Stewart of foot drop that’s because I had a couple Tia’s as a result of the enlarged heart and tachycardia. If you feel something isn’t right speak up and don’t let them tell you it’s all in your head.

Saw Dr. Stewart for treatment of complex unremitting migraines. He was impatient and would cut me off when I was answering his questions and move to the next. He was arrogant and insisted I had a family history of migraines which don’t. Overly dismissive of my concerns and was annoyed if I asked for clarification. I had imaging completed prior to my visit with him and abnormalities were noted with changes from a previous scan completed a few years earlier. However, he refused to look at them because “it’s just migraines and imaging is a waste”. An explanation would have been nice regarding the findings but, okay. His arrogance is evident, especially when challenged. I’d be fine with his arrogance if he was able to provide insight on the sudden change, increase in severity and symptoms and unremitting nature. However he had no reason why this change occurred. I went for IV treatment. Unfortunately it was not beneficial, I ended up very ill and my migraines continued to be non remitting and severe. I was told he’d follow up with me the week following my treatment. That didn’t happen until his office called 4 months later. At that point I was looking for a different neurologist.

Dr Stewart saved my life. Literally. He’s always Professional and caring. His staff is too and always accommodating if I need help right away due to my condition. When he found out years back I wasn’t being cared for properly with a rare disease that I have, he took me under his wing. Dr Stewart helped me achieve so many goals in my life with treatments and new ideas. He believed in me and encouraged me to keep pressing forward to the mark. I’d be forever grateful to have him again return to practice. Life isn’t the same without his guidance, care, compassion and knowledge.

I have been with Dr. Stewart 25 years now and I am very pleased with his professionalism! All my appointments have been on time over these years. He listens to any concerns I have and deals with them if needed. I am hoping that Dr. Stewart can be re-instated back to his practice.
