I went to ENT & Allergy Specialists to see Dr. Bryan J. Krol. The doctor is good but his office is horrible with billing practices. During the visit Dr. used a nasal endoscopy device for a few minutes. I did not realize that that will be a separate charge. I was not warned by orally by the doctor or his staff. I was billed for a $330 charge for a device used for few minutes. If I knew this is a separate device I would have called my insurance company. For a patient that is not much different than the use of a stethoscope for a patient. My insurance did not cover the bill. I then called the billing department of ENT & Allergy Specialists and they told me that I signed a document accepting such additional charges. Yes, I signed paper work. Am I a doctor, how would I know what these procedures are on those papers? I should have been verbally warned by the doctor or his staff that this is a separate procedure that will be billed. In addition $330 is too much of a high price for a decide used less than 2 minutes. The doctor's office says is no way to lower the bill. I recommend staying away from this business unless you want to pay very high bills!!!
