I have to say I was never so insulted and mad all at one time. I waited to get an approval for my referral, then waited three weeks until I saw Dr. Meyers. I have had a cough for a few years and a very complicated medical history with sever allergies. I filled out all the paperwork before I came in and all he did was walk in look up my nose and in my ears and looked at me an told me I have Acid Efflux. WTF my paperwork I turn in says, "I have NO issues with my stomach or reflux." I have a COUGH and I know my body. I went for an expert second option and he didn't feel the need to scope my nose and throat because The last Doctor That Had No clue What Was Wrong and DIDNT FIND ANYTHING. When he did it. When I tried to explain the issues he got perturbed at me. He was lazy, uninterested, told me he had other patients so he didn't have time to look behind my throat up high where the issue is. If you want an expert second caring option DO NOT SEE DR. DOUGLAS MEYERS. If he depends on the information that the other Dr. That could not figure out the problem was that's MALPRACTICE. Nothing in my medical history or the information I filled out for him ever suggests I have Acid Reflux. Totally not even close to where my problem is. I will continue to be my own advocate for my own health. Because my father had throat cancer and lung cancer and it was eight months after he saw a SPECIALIST that had X-Rays , that he had an Emergency Room Doctor that found the cancer. He went back and they compared the MRI's/X-Rays and it was there, had they just listened instead of milling people through. I hope for myself and for the ENT Northwest Clinic in Salmon Creek I don't find something like that on my quest to find a Dr that really listens and cares to find out "WHY I HAVE HAD a DEBILITATING CRONIC COUGH for three years. Maybe time for him to leave the practice. All it takes is one major issue and complete neglect to ruin lives.

Dr Meyer's and his staff are the ultimate CARING and knowledgeable I've ever encountered. Compassion, AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this clinic and the doctor!!!!!
